syria

I was out of the office last week and didn't have my computer, so sorry for the lack of postings as of late. It certainly is not the result of not having any prophetic news to look at. Headlines seem to be coming at a very fast rate. Another way to look at it is that the contractions of birth pangs are getting more frequent and more intense.

Isaiah 17 starts out telling us that Damscus will not be a city anymore. It will be a pile of ruins and will be deserted forever. Obviously, this prophecy has not come true as Damascus, which is the capital of Syria, is one of the oldest continuably inhabited cities on earth. However, it seems that tensions are building between Israel and Syria. Could things be shaping up for this prophecy to be fufilled in the near future?
