Wall Street Calamity

The angst on Wall Street and in Washington is nowhere close to subsiding. No one knows what the heck is going on, forget about trying to fix it. But they all know that SOMETHING has to be done. Will they have time to debate it for the next 6 months? Will they resist the impluse to blame somebody and point fingers?

Bush is set to address the nation tonight to speak about the "financial meltdown". This paragraph from Bush's press secratary is a tad scary as she throws out the word, "calamity".
"This is a huge moment America," said White House Press Secretary Dana Perino. "And if we don't take decisive and bold action, we could be facing financial calamity."
