A Donkey of a Man

Genesis 16:12 tells us what the angel of the Lord said about Ishmael, son of Haggar and Abraham, "He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers."

I guess that pretty much describes the arab world...the descendants of Ishmael. This article further brings home that theme as we find that Hezbollah not only has criticism for Israel's invasion of Gaza but is railing against Egypt for not opening the border at Gaza for humanitarian reasons. Egypt actually started firing into the crowd of Palestinians seeking safe haven in Egypt...how's that for brotherly love?

Also this morning on Dr Dobson, the famous apologist, Ravi Zacharia (sp?) was on and he told an interesting story. He was talking to leaders in the United Arab Emirates and they told him, anonomously, that they believe the whole arab world is going to explode in the next 5 yrs...if something drastic doesn't change.

Pray for these sons of Ishmael that the Lord can work his light into this region. Conversions are happening by the thousands, so keep praying.
