Christianity Collapse

The bible is very clear that in the last days there will be a great apostasy (falling away) as believers turn from Christianity. Many watchers that I talk to and read believe that persecution is coming for Christians...and it may come for us faster than any could have imagined.

This collapse will herald the arrival of an anti-Christian chapter of the post-Christian West. Intolerance of Christianity will rise to levels many of us have not believed possible in our lifetimes, and public policy will become hostile toward evangelical Christianity, seeing it as the opponent of the common good.

If any of you have been in a debate with a liberal in the recent past, you can see how their venom explodes as soon as you mention the name of Jesus or talk about the U.S. being a Christian nation. That, my friends, is foreshadowing.

For anyone reading this in church leadership....what are we doing to prepare our flock for this turmoil? Are we even telling the flock about what is going on and how it may happen?? Or do we prefer to keep our message light, fun and attractive...so everyone can enjoy it?

The bible has some stern warnings for leaders who lead their followers in the wrong direction. It may be time to reread those.
