Obama Blames America

I didn't realize til today that yesterday's Wall Street Journal has an article titled Obama Blames America.

No sitting American president had ever delivered indictments of this kind while abroad, or for that matter at home, or been so ostentatiously modest about the character and accomplishment of the nation he led. He was mediator, an agent of change, a judge, apportioning blame -- and he was above the battle.

Now today, the headlines on Google are giving us the statistic that 70% of Americans approve of Obama...the man.

So what is going on here? Are 70% of Americans really incapable of seeing this? Are 70% of Americans falling under a spell?
