Back From the Future

This article is certainly stranger than fiction...but since it's scientists who are claiming the possibility...it has to be addressed with a scientific answer.

Here's what's going on in a nutshell. Over in Switzerland scientists made a super collider that is under some mountain and consists of a circular tunnel over 17 miles long. The plan is to accelerate particles to the speed of light and race them around this tunnel and smash them into each other, thereby recreating the "big bang" except on a tiny level.

One thing they hoped to see was how time was "bent" when things travel fast. Time bending is a proven fact that Albert Einstein first hypothesized in his famous formula, E = MC squared. In layman's terms, Einstein's theory of relativity states that if an object could be accelerated to travel at the speed of light....time ceases to exist.

So get this....the collider has been racked with so many problems that make no scientific sense that some of the smartest scientists are actually claiming that something is coming BACK FROM THE FUTURE AND SABOTAGING THE PROJECT!

Further, the article wonders if God is actually doing something to prevent these experiments because He wants to protect man from something....OR.....wants to prevent man from finding out something.

The LHC, (the collider) they suggest, may be sabotaging itself from the future — twisting time to generate a series of scientific setbacks that will prevent the machine fulfilling its destiny.

At first sight, this theory fits comfortably into the crackpot tradition linking the start-up of the LHC with terrible disasters. The best known is that the £3 billion particle accelerator might trigger a black hole capable of swallowing the Earth when it gets going. Scientists enjoy laughing at this one.

This time, however, their ridicule has been rather muted — because the time travel idea has come from two distinguished physicists who have backed it with rigorous mathematics.

What Holger Bech Nielsen, of the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, and Masao Ninomiya of the Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics in Kyoto, are suggesting is that the Higgs boson, the particle that physicists hope to produce with the collider, might be “abhorrent to nature”.

What does that mean? According to Nielsen, it means that the creation of the boson at some point in the future would then ripple backwards through time to put a stop to whatever it was that had created it in the first place.

So why does this article merit posting on a prophecy blog? Because of the headline;
A particle God doesn’t want us to discover
