The Case for Optimism

Lest you all think that I only post gloom and doom articles for planet earth, the economy and mankind's sin gone wild.....I have chosen to post an article from today's Wall Street Journal titled;
THE CASE FOR OPTIMISM ON THE ECONOMY.

You can read it here; http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704869304574596121329841680.html

So yes, there are folks out there who think things are going to get better and they are telling the rest of us to believe that things will get better....because they "always have".

Now check out who wrote this article;

Mr. Blinder, a professor of economics and public affairs at Princeton University and vice chairman of the Promontory Interfinancial Network, is a former vice chairman of the Federal Reserve Board.

Ummmm.....can I ask a question please?? Why is it that the Federal Reserve is the only ones who are telling us to be optimistic and that things will get better...and at the very same time they are fighting with all they can muster to keep anyone from auditing their books?

Read that story here; http://online.wsj.com/article/SB126091294891892399.html

Didn't Bernie Madoff tell his clients right before the FBI ran in his front door that "things are going to get better?"
