A few days ago, I posted an entry about Obama's citzenship. A few readers posted comments asking why I would continue to spread these lies.
You can read these comments under the posting about Obama's citizenship.
It's true that we do live in a very dangerous time of technology. Publishing information has now become a form of "creating" truth. One person says something and writes in down and then publishes it to the Internet. From there, that "news" is cut and pasted on emails, blogs and other articles and sent all around the globe. Finally, after repeating the information enough.....it becomes true.
With that being said, I will repeat....I have no idea if Obama is a citizen or not...and have not spent much time covering this story. Personally, I am more interested in the story because I believe it's a barometer of how un-trusting the U.S. populace has become of it's people in power.
Remember, it was the year 2000 that the liberals of the U.S. claimed that George W. Bush "stole" the presidency from Al Gore...even after the Supreme court ruled. And they didn't let that story die for over 8 years of Bush presidency. This led to enormous division amongst the populace.
Today, it may be the conservatives who are claiming that a non U.S. born man occupies the White House. And even if he produces 100 birth certificates showing he was born in Hawaii....a certain group of folks will not believe them to be valid.
Why? Because they will believe that someone cooked the birth certificates to deceive us. Who would do that? Answer: a group of people who desperately wanted Obama to be President so he could put the final nail in the U.S. coffin....and sign us up for bankruptcy so that we will fall into the arms of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Anyway, I have pretty much become apolitical...as I have little faith left in the hope that politicians (of any party) in D.C. will be able to "fix" America. We are suffering from a moral breakdown with cannot be fixed by legislation.
With all that being said...I will post an article from an "urban legends" website which clearly spells out the errors of anyone who claims that Obama's college has released his transcripts which prove he was Kenyan born.
Analysis: Hoax.
The original April 1, 2009 posting date suggests it may have been intended as an April Fools prank, but given that the text does little else but parrot actual tenets of the so-called "Birther" movement (the folks who claim Barack Obama is ineligible for the presidency due to a forged or invalid birth certificate), it barely qualifies as satire.
Is it really an AP news story? No. The Associated Press ("AP") never published such a story. It didn't run in any real newspaper, nor on any real wire service. It can, however, be found posted and reposted on hundreds of anti-Obama blogs and websites.

Look into this story if you are interested....but don't believe everything that someone emails you simply because it has been repeated over and over.
We need to be salt and light in a VERY CONFUSED world and for that to work...we need to keep clarity of mind and cling to the scripture and faith in God....because having faith in mankind will certainly fail us all in these last days.
