Good News--Bad News

Which one do you want first?

The good news is that President Obama has pledged some $$millions of dollars to help Israel boost it's missile defense system.

U.S. House of Representatives approves Obama request for 205 million dollars to spur production of system to counter short-range rockets like those used by Hamas and Hezbollah.

Cool! "I will bless those who bless you...."

The bad news is that some U.S. Senators are continuing to mess with Jerusalem.

Jewish Democratic party U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein of California has come to the aid of U.S. President Barack Obama and has drafted a letter encouraging U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to pressure Israel against “the expansion of settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.”

In a previous letter to constituents last month, Senator Feinstein wrote, “I have grave concerns about the expansion of Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, and I believe that this issue is a major stumbling block to a peace agreement. In my view, settlement activity should be halted until an agreement is reached.”

Uh-oh!! Pressure Israel?? I guess Jewish-Senator Feinstein hasn't read her Old Testament lately....the part that talks about all the nations who mess with Jerusalem will injure themselves. Or the part where God says Jerusalem is the "apple of my eye."

So does the good news of the USA borrowing /printing $205 million give to Israel OUTWEIGH the bad news of the U.S. Senate and our President messing with Jerusalem?

I'll let you decide.
