North Korea Vows Trouble

The USA and South Korea are soon going to engage in joint military games...and North Korea has threatened a "physical response" to what they view as a provocation.

"It is a threat to the Korean peninsula and the region of Asia as a whole. And the DPRK's (North Korea) position is clear: there will be a physical response to the threat imposed by the United States militarily."

Washington and Seoul say the war games - involving the aircraft carrier USS George Washington, 20 other ships and submarines, 100 aircraft and 8,000 personnel - are intended to deter North Korean aggression.

China has criticised the plans and warned against any action which might "exacerbate regional tensions".

But Japan is sending four military observers, in an apparent endorsement of the drills.

Let's review; North Korea's citizens are starving to death living under the control of a maniacal despot (AKA-Gopher in a pantsuit).

-North Korea has nukes and this Gopher's regime may be on the verge of collapse...he may want to go out with a bang.

-Most of it's citizens are illiterate and unskilled and have no idea how to run a country...so even if the Gopher was taken down, what would be there to replace him?

-And China is terrified of millions of illiterate North Koreans spilling over into China and swamping their system, so they would prefer the Gopher stay in power to keep this from happening.

-China wants to keep the Gopher and they are not happy that the USA, Japan and South Korea are making the Gopher fidgety.

-As we said yesterday, we owe China a boat load of money and like it or not, their money is financing OUR WAR GAMES with South Korea....so China may soon start swinging a bat.

Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of wars.....and man, did he ever get that right!
