One Shock Away

The World Bank president has issued an ominous statement;

The president of the World Bank has warned that the world is "one shock away from a full-blown crisis".
Robert Zoellick cited rising food prices as the main threat to poor nations who risk "losing a generation".
He was speaking in Washington at the end of the spring meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
Let's see....what could that one shock possibly be??  How about a severe drought in the USA impacting our grain harvest...and Texas and Oklahoma are already reporting their worst spring rains since the Dustbowl?
How about a few more severe quakes...maybe one on the New Madrid fault that squashes our infrastructure and causes billions in damages...money which we don't have?
How about a solar storm that knocks out electricity in areas for weeks?
How about if we keep burning 40% of our corn crop making ethanol and drive corn up to $10-12 dollars per bushel and shove millions of people into starvation and further poverty?
The world is ripe for catastrophe.
Where is your foundation built?  Will it survive storms and turmoil?
