Crazy Flooding Continues

The Eastern U.S. just can't catch a break.  First an earthquake, then a hurricane and now epic rains that have dropped 15 inches in some parts and brought rivers up 30 feet in a matter of hours.

(Reuters) - Relentless rain spawned by the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee caused major flooding in the eastern United States on Thursday, forcing the evacuation of about 130,000 people in Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.

Some 65,000 people were evacuated from Wilkes-Barre, a city in northeastern Pennsylvania, and 35,000 others were evacuated in surrounding counties, all threatened by the rising waters of the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania, said Stephen Urban, commissioner of Luzerne County.

At least three people died in Pennsylvania due to the flooding. The torrential rain came from a weather system that earlier soaked the U.S. Gulf Coast and tested the flood defenses of New Orleans.

Residents were warned of flooding conditions in states from Virginia up the East Coast to Massachusetts. Highways were closed and rail service stopped by flooding.

All this going on as U.S. continues to badmouth Israel and pressure her to apologize to Turkey and give in to Palestinian demands.  Must be a coincidence?

"I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you."  Says God.
