Jordanians Urge End of Peace Accord with Israel

Jordan has been one of the Arab countries that has had a peace agreement with Israel.  Interestingly they are also one of the players mentioned in Psalm 83 that will meet the wrath of a powerful Israeli military.  So how will that peace be broken?

Looks like some movement towards that inevitability may be happening right in front of our eyes.

TEHRAN (FNA)- People in Jordan staged massive anti-government and anti-Israel rallies across the country to voice their strong protest at the Amman government's performance in foreign policy, domestic politics and campaign against corruption and to extend their support for the Palestinian people.

The Jordanian people also gathered in front of the UN office in Amman and underscored their support for the creation of an independent Palestinian state.

The demonstrators also condemned the US for pledging to veto the Palestinian statehood bid at the UN Security Council.

A group of demonstrators gathered outside Israel's embassy in Amman and requested an end to Jordan's peace accord with the Zionist regime of Israel.

"Come", they say, "let us destroy them (Israel) as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more."  Psalm 83:4

The Psalm goes on to say what will happen to these nations that plan on throwing down Israel.

"May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace.  Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord--that you alone are the Most High over all the earth."  Psalm 83:17
