'Mass Hysteria' Outbreak in New York

So what could it possibly be when 12 unrelated, healthy, active girls all in the same school suddenly break out with uncontrollable movements, ticks and outbursts?  I wonder what Jesus, the Great Phycisian, might call it?

The "mass hysteria" diagnosis was mentioned last week, with some experts saying that stress might have a basis in the symptoms, but parents are not convinced. They haven't been shown any data and Sanchez's mother, Beth Miller, wants the state to turn over information that's been collected "so I can proceed in finding a cure for our daughters." Watch the segment, which features Sanchez suffering some intense sudden movement.

Whew!....I'm glad a doctor and science could give us a logical explanation for what this is!  Forget about the fact that the diagnosis of "mass hysteria" is about the most ILLOGICAL explanation imaginable...and that it means NOTHING.....at least we can all forget about it and go home and pretend that nothing supernatural is happening and rest easy in the knowledge that science has it ALL FIGURED OUT.
