U.S. Silent on Top Imam Ordering Church Destruction

As we asked on an earlier post, what do you think the outcry of the world would be if the Pope stood on his pulpit in Rome and said that there could be no peace in Europe until all the Mosques were destroyed?

Of course the media would play the tape 100,000 times per day for a week and the Muslims would go on TV saying how disturbing the pope's comments were and then the Muslims of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Gaza and every other backwater Muslim cesspool would start protesting...and they would probably kill a few dozen folks during their protests.

But as of today the USA has remained silent about Saudi Arabia's top Imam saying that all Christian churches need to be destroyed in the Arabian Peninsula.  He is very clear that there can only be one religion and it is Islam...so you may as well warn all the Christians that they better start thinking of converting...or be destroyed.

(CNSNews.com) – Ten days after Saudi Arabia’s foremost religious leader called for a demolition of all churches in the Arabian Peninsula – in line with a purported injunction by Mohammed – the U.S. government and other allies of the kingdom have yet to react.

Major media outlets also have largely ignored the incident; a Nexis search finds reporting on the issue has been restricted to blogs and opinion columns, including a Washington Times editorial on March 16.

On March 12, Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh was quoted in Arabic media reports as telling a visiting Kuwaiti delegation that it was “necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.”

Lawmakers in Kuwait are mulling a ban on the new construction of any non-Islamic places of worship in the small Gulf state, and the delegation asked Asheikh for his opinion. The grand mufti, a member of the ruling royal family, is the undisputed Sunni spiritual arbiter in Islam’s birthplace.

Yes!....let's continue to be very quiet about all this Islamic intolerance and calls to violence.  After all, we wouldn't want to disturb the Muslims around the world by pointing out evidence that Islam isn't all about peace, love and tolerance.  In fact its all about conquest, guilt, shame and intolerance.

We need to have a Holy Spirit revival in this country.  I'm getting more sure every day that having one is the ONLY thing that is going to open our eyes, wake us up and get this nation turned around.  If we don't...then we can all just try and imagine what America will look like in another 5 or 10 years, if Jesus tarries.
