Thomas Jefferson Quotes

Thomas Jefferson was a brilliant man.  He had a huge part in laying the foundations of this great nation.

Will we see him in heaven?  Of course I have no idea...but if we were 'fruit testers' and looked at the Christian fruit he was bearing, we may be concerned with the fact that he rewrote the New Testament and removed all the supernatural parts and Jesus' miracles.

So it is interesting to note that MOST of us would not allow Thomas Jefferson to teach adult education at our church were he alive today.

That being said, God uses the good and the bad to accomplish His purposes.

I have read many Jefferson quotes and actually just looked up and sent one to a friend last week...but a reader sent me an email today with some great quotes of his that almost seem to be written for our society today.

Why is this??  Maybe because people who dwell in the city seem to quickly lose the knowledge of where their food comes from.  They also miss out on nature and the circle of life which CLEARLY screams, "Creator!"  City people may tend to be more impressed with the structures that MAN has built...which can lead to humanism, liberalism and atheism.  That is my opinion anyway.

Isn't that a platform for the Democrats??  Give more programs and money to those who won't work?  Tragically, within the last few years we have reached the tipping point where more people DON'T PAY INCOME TAX than those who do.

I agree with Tom on this one for sure....but I doubt our rifles will stand up very long to the US Government if it turns its drones, Black hawk helicopters, fighter jets, infra-red and night vision technology, tanks and .50 caliber guns against us.

Hey ObamaCare?!  Are you going to force all of the Christian business owners to pay for health insurance that mandates contraception and abortion care??  I don't think Thomas would be happy at all!

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

Have you Googled "THE FEDERAL RESERVE"?  Do you understand who is the power behind it?  Do you understand that THEY have the power to create money out of thin air printed on pieces of paper...and then charge us INTEREST when they force us to use that money?  Who were the powers that got rich off this scheme?  How long can a scheme like that go on??  Have you noticed the love affair that American media seems to have with the Federal Reserve?...and how they believe that the Federal Reserve somehow SAVED US from the 2008 calamity??  If you use your common sense, you KNOW how this is all going to end.

Oh my goodness!!  If Thomas came around today, I guarantee you he would NOT BE IMPRESSED with what he would find in America.
