Antibiotic Apocalypse Fears Grow
Most people probably don't know this but almost all of our beef cows stand in huge feedlots and are fed antibiotics by the jar full...even though they aren't sick. The same thing is true with our chickens and pigs.
The old saying goes, "You are what you eat."
So if that's true and all of our cows, pigs and chickens have become part antibiotics....and then we consume all that meat...is it possible that our bodies can end up ingesting so many antibiotics that they become ineffective when WE REALLY DO NEED THEM to cure an infection?
The biggest threat to human health today isn’t global warming, says a group of eminent scientists, it is resistance to antibiotics.
The situation, which has been described as ‘apocalyptic’, is so desperate that a global response, similar to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, is urgently needed, said experts gathered at the Royal Society in London.
The World Health Organisation is considering a global action plan to fight the problem.
At least two million Americans a year are infected with drug-resistant bugs and 23,000 die as a direct result. Even more die from other illnesses that were made worse by infections that cannot be treated, according to a report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) last year.
Antibiotic resistance is not only bad news for current patients, it also allows pathogens to spread to more victims.
Jeremy Farrar, the head of the Wellcome Trust, and Mark Woolhouse, professor of infectious disease epidemiology at Edinburgh University, argued in Nature yesterday (22 May) that the use of antibiotics should be slashed to slow the rate at which resistance is spreading.
Their proposed new global panel would also work with industry to develop treatments for infections caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites. But it takes a decade to develop new drugs, and no new class of antibiotics has made it into clinical use in a quarter of a century.
Antibiotics are also widely used as a growth promoter for livestock, despite a European Union ban.
Britain introduced a five-year antibiotic plan in 2013 to improve surveillance, educate medical professionals and spread best practice.
But, said Michael Moore of the Royal College of General Practitioners, “The problem of antimicrobial resistance is analogous to global warming. You’ve got to have an international policy,”

So there are a few potentially prophetic happenings in this article. First off, Jesus told us to watch for an increase in pestilence/disease and if millions of people start dying from infections that won't respond to antibiotics...this could certainly fit the bill.
Second, notice how the words GLOBAL PANEL and INTERNATIONAL POLICY and GLOBAL ACTION PLAN all appeared in this article. The Bible tells us that there is going to be some type of GLOBAL GOVERNMENT in the very last days...one that the Antichrist will ultimately take control of.
So what types of reasons could cause the world to come together and form a global government?
Well, it quite possibly could start with a GLOBAL PANEL and if millions start dying, the citizens of earth could DEMAND that the governments all come together to cooperate and come up with a cure, ban travel, mandate immunizations, control agriculture practices world wide, etc...
If people are scared enough...they will willingly give up ALL OF THEIR FREEDOMS in exchange for someone who promises them that he will keep them SAFE.
This certainly could be one other END DAYS TRAP that is getting ready to slap shut on the unsuspecting citizens of planet earth.

Global health panels have been happening for decades. Nothing new.
And Noah built the ark for 120 years...I'm guessing lots of folks looked at his project and said, "He's been working on that boat for decades...nothing new."....and then the flood came and took them all away.
I get a big kick out of some of the older folks who I talk to and they say, "Yeah, ever since I was a young kid at church they have been saying that Israel is a big sign of the Last Days...and here we are six decades later and still nothing has happened."
You should be reminded of 2 Peter 3;
3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
