Adultery Website Popularity Soars

So you want to have sex with someone besides your spouse?  Who could blame you....people weren't made to only have sex with one person and your wife can be so boring after all these years....right??

It turns out that this adultery website, called Ashley Madison, is actually growing by leaps and bounds and the fastest growing segment is MARRIED WOMEN.

Awesome!!  That out to make the women's-rights movement awfully proud!!  The women are catching up to the men in the perversion department!!

AshleyMadison.com, a dating website for cheating spouses, wants to hook up with investors by pursuing an initial public offering in London this year.

The site’s parent company, which failed with a previous IPO attempt in Canada, said on Wednesday it is looking to raise as much as $200 million to exploit booming demand for its services.

AshleyMadison had sales of $115 million last year, an almost fourfold increase on 2009, Christoph Kraemer, its head of international relations said in an interview. It makes money by charging men for credits, which they then use for introductions to women.

Avid Life Media Inc., the Toronto-based holding company that runs AshleyMadison.com along with peers Cougarlife.com and EstablishedMen.com, wants the new funds for marketing and international expansion.

Known for provocative ads bearing the slogan “Life is Short. Have an Affair,” the site said it has profited from more women seeking extramarital affairs. It said female membership on AshleyMadison.com is increasing 10 percent faster each year than men.

Among the core group of users between the ages of 30 and 45, the ratio of men to women is 50:50, according to the company.

The site is unapologetic about the nature of its services, arguing that it has even strengthened some marriages. “We’ve had stories from members that we’ve returned love to the marital bed and made others realize the grass is not greener on the other side,” Kraemer said.

"Life is short, so have an affair."  That is Ashley Madison's tag line.  That seems about exactly what the world SHOULD be telling us...the exact opposite of what the Bible tells us.

We certainly can't blame some entrepreneurial business people for coming up with this idea as THEY are simply recognizing a demand and filling it.  We can't blame the men for wanting to have anonymous sex with other willing women.  We can't blame the women for wanting to feel pretty and desired by some other anonymous men.  We can't blame any humans for simply appeasing the desires they were born with....right??

No, articles like this shouldn't surprise us as we witness the world simply doing what the world does...BUT...what is disheartening is to see this happening out in the wide-open-view of everyone. It seems there isn't any shame anymore because as a nation we don't believe in the concept of sin anymore.  If I am off fornicating with strange women...it's not sinful behavior because I'm just acting on human impulses that I WAS BORN WITH!!  Satisfying sexual urges is no more sinful that eating breakfast because you are hungry!!  This is a lie straight from the pit of hell.

Woe the the nations who call good evil and evil good.

God made sexual intimacy as a blessing to married couples consisting of ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN.  Anything that deviates from God's perfect plan is perversion.  We aren't the first society to be overcome with perversion...but it's just so troubling to watch.  With a Christian church sitting on virtually every corner in every town through out the USA....we should have no excuse for not knowing and obeying God's word.

Sadly, few Americans KNOW God's word...and even fewer BELIEVE God's word.
