Pope Says All Religions Lead to the Same God

Some years ago, Oprah had a show talking about religion and she told her audience that even though she was raised Baptist she now has come to the conclusion that there are many paths to god.  In essence she said we were all heading up the same mountain, going in the same direction but taking different paths.

Awww!....how nice is that??  Everyone is heading to heaven, ice-cream, pie and kum-ba-yah!

Here's the problem...It's a lie straight from the pit of hell.

"But Dennis, it was only Oprah who said that.  No Christians really believe that!"

Really?

A new video has just been released in which Pope Francis very clearly expresses his belief that all of the major religions are different paths to the same God.

He says that while people from various global faiths may be "seeking God or meeting God in different ways" that it is important to keep in mind that "we are all children of God".

This is the most recent example that shows that the Pope has completely abandoned any notion that a relationship with God is available only through Jesus Christ.

As he has done throughout his papacy, he continues to lay the groundwork for the coming one world religion, and yet hardly anyone seems upset by this.

When I first heard of this new video, I was so stunned that I thought that it might be a joke. But the truth is that this video is very real. The following comes from an article that was put out by Catholic News Agency...

The Pope s first-ever video message on his monthly prayer intentions was released Tuesday, highlighting the importance of interreligious dialogue and the beliefs different faith traditions hold in common, such as the figure of God and love.

"Many think differently, feel differently, seeking God or meeting God in different ways. In this crowd, in this range of religions, there is only one certainty that we have for all: we are all children of God," Pope Francis said in his message, released Jan. 6, the feast of the Epiphany.

Wait....what?

Yes, it's true that God loves all and hopes that NONE perish...but that doesn't mean we are all children of God.

Jesus said;  You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires.

Wait...so some people on earth have the devil as their father? Well clearly THOSE folks must not be children of God...right?

Jesus also said;  “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Wait...so some people are going to be told to depart from Jesus and sent along with the devil into eternal fire?  Those folks sure don't sound like they are children of  God?

But here is the absolute clincher that Jesus said;  "I am the way, the truth and the life.  No man comes to the Father except through me."

"But Jesus, what about me?  I was a pretty good person!  I was a very spiritual Buddhist and gave money to poor people almost every week!

"Depart from me.  I don't know you."

"But Jesus!  I loved Oprah and she was such a giving person I just assumed she had the words of eternal life!"

"Depart from me.  I don't know you."

"But Jesus!  We had your name in the holy Koran and we set you up to be almost as important as Mohammad!"

"Depart from me.  I don't know you."

Revelation 19
But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Revelation 20
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
