115 Americans Die Every Day From Opioid Overdose

Of course the leftist media is non-stop coverage of another school shooting where 17 people were gunned down by a mentally ill man who we will probably will find out was hearing voices in his head.

They put the photos up on TV of the wonderful people who died.

No doubt it's a tragedy.

But of course the left wants to blame this tragedy on guns.

Why?

Because they don't like guns.

Did you know that 115 people die EVERY SINGLE DAY of opioid overdose?

Why doesn't the media put their pictures up everyday?  How about once per week?

Do they talk about it?

Yep.

Do they try and stoke our anger at the drugs that caused this?

Nope.

Drug overdose deaths and opioid-involved deaths continue to increase in the United States. The majority of drug overdose deaths (66%) involve an opioid. In 2016, the number of overdose deaths involving opioids (including prescription opioids and heroin) was 5 times higher than in 1999. From 2000 to 2016, more than 600,000 people died from drug overdoses. On average, 115 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose.

We now know that overdoses from prescription opioids are a driving factor in the 16-year increase in opioid overdose deaths. The amount of prescription opioids sold to pharmacies, hospitals, and doctors’ offices nearly quadrupled from 1999 to 2010,3,4 yet there had not been an overall change in the amount of pain that Americans reported.5,6 Deaths from prescription opioids—drugs like oxycodone, hydrocodone, and methadone—have more than quadrupled since 1999.

I wonder if this is one reason so many Americans are now coming to the conclusion that so much of what the media feeds us falls under the category of fake news?

Also please note that Revelation tells us that the Last Days will be filled with pharmakia...which is the Greek word where we get our word pharmacy from.
