Could We Be Living Inside a Simulated Reality?
The Bible tells us, “only the unseen things are real.” We also know that angels seem to come in and out of our reality and dwell in another dimension that we can’t see. We also know that Jesus moved in and out of our reality once He traded in his old body for a new glorified body. God said he “knew us before the foundation of the earth was created.” All of this evidence might point to the idea that all that we experience and all that we do, see and feel are all electronic simulations in within a very advanced video game. The 1999 movie, The Matrix, was based on this idea and we all know that Hollywood seems to prep people for what is coming. Think about it.

In this scenario, the physical laws governing our reality are simply algorithms. The experiences we have are generated by the computational processes of an immensely advanced system.

I can see this of course... via that the Heavenly realm is the true reality. Yet this concept leaves one feeling that Creation is not all that stupendous. One is given the impression it is somehow all make believe and that GOD just made a big video game and inserted man within it. Somehow, to me, it has to be a higher more valuable OVER-ALL plan/concept.
At history's end.... GOD will make a New Heaven and Earth!! The HEAVENLY/THRONE(true reality) descends onto the new earth and Almighty GOD Tabernacles with man for-evermore. Thus one could say that GOD is then entering HIS own simulated reality/video game, kinda leaves one questing why this would be the case. Again, I just am left feeling a little weirded out with this .......... "SIMULATION concept". Any thoughts would be welcome!!
Hey Ron! Good to hear from you! Yes, I agree that the idea of simulated reality makes one feel a little weirded out. It sounds bizarre and impossible! And of course I have no idea if it’s true. However, let’s remember that a lot of what we believe is bizarre and fantastic, like the rapture for instance. We believe that Jesus is going to come into the clouds one day and blow a trumpet and the DNA of dead people is going to be remade into glorified flesh that can inhabit the same dimension where Jesus dwells. After that, millions of believers will swap bodies and change flesh in the twinkling of an eye! And sail into the clouds to meet Jesus. Also remember that God knew us before he even formed the earth which means he had already designed our characters. Anyway, no eye has seen nor mind can imagine!
