The March Toward Digital Identity is Much Closer Than You Think
As we have said numerous times, WE are the first generation to have the technology available to complete all the future prophecies written in the Bible. For the last 2000 years folks could read the book of Daniel or Revelation and say, "There's no possible way the whole world could share a common currency! How in the world could we have any idea what's happening in China or Japan on the other side of the world?"
Of course today we know that information can travel at the speed of light and if you swipe your credit card in China it can register on your bank statement in Minnesota almost instantaneously.
And how about all of us who put chips in our dogs and cats? We do that so if they get lost the authorities can scan the animal and find out the phone number and call them. Why wouldn't we start doing that with our kids? Wouldn't YOU want to find your kid if you lost him at the State Fair?
And how about all the $$billions of fraud committed every year by hackers and scammers? Wouldn't it be great if no one could spend YOUR money unless your personal code was in the vicinity of what you were trying to buy?
In an era where our digital footprints increasingly define our identities, the concept of mandatory digital identification is rapidly gaining traction. Recent legislative efforts, particularly those aimed at regulating minors' access to social media, are accelerating this shift. While these measures are often presented as protective, they carry profound implications for personal privacy and freedom.
Global Initiatives and Legislative Actions
In January 2025, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez proposed at the World Economic Forum in Davos that social media accounts within the European Union be linked to the EU Digital Identity Wallet. This initiative aims to eliminate online anonymity, ostensibly to combat misinformation and enhance security. However, it also raises significant concerns about user privacy and the potential for increased surveillance.
Similarly, Australia has enacted stringent social media regulations, banning children under 16 from platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat. Social media companies are required to enforce these age restrictions or face substantial fines. While the legislation aims to protect young users, experts warn that it could lead to privacy issues and push children toward less regulated platforms.
In the United States, twelve states have implemented regulations requiring parental consent and age verification for teen social media use. These laws, while intended to safeguard minors, also contribute to the normalization of digital ID systems, potentially paving the way for broader applications.
The Slippery Slope of Digital Identification
The expansion of digital ID requirements beyond social media is a looming possibility. Linking digital identities to various online services could lead to a future where accessing essential services necessitates identity verification, effectively eroding online anonymity. This shift could transform the internet into a heavily monitored space, where every action is traceable and personal freedoms are compromised.
Proponents argue that such measures enhance security and streamline services. However, critics caution that mandatory digital IDs could be applied beyond their initial scope, gradually eroding the ability to browse the internet freely and anonymously.
A Catalyst for Change: The Role of Cybersecurity Incidents
A significant cybersecurity breach could serve as a catalyst for the widespread adoption of mandatory digital IDs. In the aftermath of a major hacking incident, public opinion might shift in favor of stringent security measures, including universal digital identification. While such a system could deter cybercriminals, it also raises concerns about data privacy and the potential misuse of personal information.
Here; The March Toward Mandatory Digital Identity - Closer Than You Think
Of course we all know that the day is coming when some type of mark (bar-code, chip implant) is going to be required to buy or sell anything. Revelation tells us this will happen during the reign of Antichrist which will happen during the final 7 years before Christ returns to earth.
The fact that these topics of DIGITAL IDENTITY are being openly discussed around the world should be one more converging sign that shows us that the 70th Week of Daniel is very close.
Maybe the rapture will cause a major financial meltdown? Maybe the new system proposed will be a global system that requires DIGITIAL IDENTIFICATION?
