Europe Comes Together to Embrace Zelenskyy

 A few things to remember as Trump tries to end the war in Ukraine;

Liberals in America are going to bawl about how Trump is hurting “our friendship with Europe”.  That may be but Europe is literally filled with godless, Liberals who would vote Democrat if they lived here.  So how much should we really care about the liberal tears they are shedding?

CNN says in this article, that Russia’s attack on Ukraine was “unprovoked”.  You need to dig into that to decide if it’s true.  Ukraine may not have directly provoked the Russian bear but the West did when it tried to expand NATO even after promising Gorbachev that “not one inch to the East of NATO expansion.”

If you read this article, it sounds like Europe is realizing they have to get serious about coming up with their own plan for Ukraine, and quite possibly that’s exactly what Trump wanted from the very beginning.  So Trump wins again.

Clearly Trump doesn’t personally like Zelenskyy.  I think he’s mad at the dude for showing up In Pennsylvania 50 days before the election and giving the nod to Kamala in a tight swing state.

I’ve also read enough and seen enough coming from Ukraine that I believe that there is something foul happening there.  Foul like selling US weapons to other players, getting rid of any political opponents, and reports of special forces wearing swastikas and treating their own citizens like criminals if they hold a different view than Zelenskyy.  So maybe he is a dictator?

Keep praying for Trump and Vance.  If they truly are going to drain the swamp and expose thousands of satanic secrets in the process, it’s going to continue being a HUGE spiritual war.

US officials are piling heat on Volodymyr Zelensky, suggesting he may need to relinquish power after his disastrous Oval Office meeting — even as Europe embraces the Ukrainian president more tightly than ever.

The contrast highlighted the most damaging split in the Western alliance at least since the Berlin Wall fell and bolstered a sense that the “free world” has been pushed to the brink of fracturing early in President Donald Trump’s new term.

Yet the sight of Europe stepping into the impasse left by Trump’s first bid to end the Ukraine war could also represent hope that good could come out of the debacle of Zelensky’s visit. That’s if the continent can, as it promised Sunday, construct a peace plan to hand to the US president.

Waltz’s comment underscores the US’ position that the war must end no matter what as Trump races toward a rapprochement with Russian President Vladimir Putin after falsely blaming Zelensky for the unprovoked invasion.

Moscow on Monday sought to capitalize on Trump’s overtures to Putin and the administration’s assault on Zelensky while trying to widen differences between Europe and the United States.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov suggested that “someone must force Zelensky to change his position,” adding “someone must make Zelensky want peace.” He was, of course, referring to a leader whose nation has been under unprovoked attack for three years in an invasion that has killed thousands of civilians, and it was striking to hear the same message coming from Putin’s mouthpiece and top Trump administration foreign policy officials.

Peskov also tried to discredit European peace initiatives unveiled at a summit Sunday, which are likely to be more favorable to Kyiv than Trump’s approach.

“There were also statements about the need to urgently provide increased levels of funding for Ukraine. This is clearly not for a peace plan, but for the continuation of military operations,” Peskov said.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer led the gathering of Western leaders in London that welcomed Zelensky as a guest of honor. In a highly symbolic move, King Charles III granted Zelensky an hourlong audience, days after inviting Trump to a second state visit. Starmer promised a “coalition of the willing” to arm and defend Ukraine and warned again that any durable peace would need US security guarantees Trump has not yet offered.

And France and Britain also proposed a monthlong limited truce in Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron told the newspaper Le Figaro on Sunday. Zelensky said he was aware of the proposal but did not say whether he agreed with it.

The aggressive European leadership effort came as Ursula von der Leyen, the president of the European Commission, said Ukraine’s allies needed to turn the country into a “steel porcupine that is indigestible for potential invaders.”
