Muslims Unite!

We have had our antennae up for some time on the Shiite-Islam belief of a coming savior called the 12th Imam, or the Mahdi. It is interesting to note how many similarities exist between the Islamic prophecy and what our own bible tells us about the Anti-Christ.

Author Joel Richardson has an updated version of his original book I read a few years ago. The updated title is called, ANTI-CHRIST: ISLAM'S AWAITED MESSIAH. I would highly recommend this book if you want to know more about these fascinating similarities.

So we keep looking for the news of the coming Mahdi in Arabic reports...and this week some more interesting stuff has appeared.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's spokesman, Ali Saeedi, said countries like Turkey, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan and Afghanistan should gather together all their forces in order to make drastic changes to prepare for the coming of al-Mahdi al-Montazar, Arabic for "the awaited guided one."

Also remember that chaos is the global condition that Shiites believe will usher in the Mahdi....and they are still cooking a nuclear weapon....which could create a lot of global chaos.
