Major False Teacher Coming?

Jesus warned us that in the last days many will come in His name claiming to be the messiah...but don't believe them.

That trend has definately started.

With that being said, the unsaved world is looking for one specific man called Maitreya. The powers behind him tell us that he will be a savior to all.

He has been expected for generations by all of the major religions. Christians know him as the Christ, and expect his imminent return. Jews await him as the Messiah; Hindus look for the coming of Krishna; Buddhists expect him as Maitreya Buddha; and Muslims anticipate the Imam Mahdi or Messiah.

Although the names are different, many believe that they all refer to the same individual: the World Teacher, whose personal name is Maitreya (pronounced my-tray-ah).
Preferring to be known simply as the Teacher, Maitreya has not come as a religious leader, or to found a new religion, but as a teacher and guide for people of every religion and those of no religion.

At this time of great political, economic and social crisis Maitreya will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice, and global cooperation.

Read report here; http://www.share-international.org/maitreya/Ma_main.htm

Did you catch all those buzz words like "social justice", "sharing", "global cooperation"?

Did you catch the similarities to what the Bible describes as the Antichrist?

Did you know that his coming is said to be announced by a bright star in the sky?

Did you know that many people around the world are seeing that star and sending in pictures to prove it?

Did you know that the website that publishes all this info is called "Share International" and gets it's funding in part from the United Nations?

Although I usually don't point fingers at people who may be the Anti Christ, I think this idea is very interesting. Tony Blair:

That person did a nice job of sumarizing the reasons why it makes sense. But, then again, there are always lots of people who seem like they could be.

That is interesting. But now that Blair has been nixed for the job of EU president....he doesn't seem as likely. As you know, none of the believers will know for sure who the AC actually is because Thessalonians is very clear he won't be revealed until after the Holy Spirit is removed.(rapture) The 3 trains of thought seem to be; he will come from the revived Roman empire since Daniel says he will come from those who destroyed the 2nd temple. Another that I hear from author Joel Richardson is that he will be an Arab from Palestine because the people who actually destroyed the temple were Arabs who had enlisted in the Roman army and THEY actually destroyed the temple. Another is a passage in Isaiah which talks of the AC and calls him the Assyrian...which means he could be from the Syria/Iraq area. This one makes sense to me since Babylon plays such a big part last days prophesies...it may figure that the AC would rule from rebuilt Babylon. Interestingly enough....the Shiite muslims say that when the Mahdi returns, he will rule from Babylon. Stay tuned and pray that we will never know...because we will be gone when the final answer comes.

Ah, good points. I didn't remember that part about the AC coming until after the Holy Spirit is removed. Yeah, I agree, I really wouldn't want to be here at all while the AC is in power. Although, I am very interested in seeing what will happen.

Interesting enough....Tony Blair and the EU presidency discussion is on the front page of the Wall Street Journal today (Nov. 17). Sounds like as bad as Tony wants it, it may be a Belgian named Herman Van Rompuy who gets it.
