Risks Have Risen Significantly

You have heard us talk about the International Monetary Fund. (IMF) Many watchers believe this may be the organization that will be used to usher in the one world currency that the Bible says will be used during the Tribulation.

And yes, they have been in the news a lot as of late. Probably more foreshadowing for those whose eyes are open.

Today they are in the news again with this headline;
IMF: Risks to Global Economy Have ‘Risen Significantly’

The risks to a robust global recovery have “risen significantly” as many governments struggle with debt, a top International Monetary Fund official has warned.

“After nearly two years of global economic and financial upheaval, shock waves are still being felt, as we have seen with recent developments in Europe and the resulting financial market volatility,” Naoyuki Shinohara, the IMF's deputy managing director, said in Singapore on Wednesday.

“The global outlook remains unusually uncertain and downside risks have risen significantly,” Shinohara said, according to Britain's Daily Telegraph.

See it here; http://www.moneynews.com/StreetTalk/IMF-Risks-Global-Economy/2010/06/10/id/361597?s=al&promo_code=A0CF-1

Here is one scenario of how this "one world currency" plays out...keeping in mind at all times that the Bible says the "Debtor will be slave to the lender";

Greece fails...they ask the IMF for a bailout loan. Spain fails...they ask IMF for bailout loans. Hungary, France, Japan, Portugal, Ireland, England, Sweden, numerous EU nations, etc....all ask for help from the IMF.

If this happens, the IMF will then be able to set control rules on the countries it has loaned to.

Next, the rapture of the church happens and the USA government fails. What fails along with it is the ability to repay the world the $13 Trillion in Treasury Bonds it has outstanding. This final shock wave forces most of the rest of the world to look to the IMF for basic needs.

Next, the world would be in total despair...desperately looking for a leader who could lead them out of this abysmal abyss.

And we know who that guy will be. ENTER THE MAN OF PERDITION...THE LAWLESS ONE!

Praise the Lord that he will not be revealed until the Holy Spirit is withdrawn from earth. And since we KNOW that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers during this Age of Grace....we know that means that Antichrist will not be revealed until AFTER THE RAPTURE! (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7)

Amen! Come Lord Jesus!

Hi Dennis,

I am having difficulty understanding this. My hope is you can help me out.

So there will be no holy spirit after the rapture?

It is my understanding that the rapture must be pre tribulation to be eminent. However: if it is pretrib then where does the Later day rain fit in that Joel talked about. That is a huge outpouring of the spirit.

When do you believe the later rain begins?

Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Acts 2-14:21 Peter Addresses the Crowd
14Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning! 16No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17" 'In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
19I will show wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.'[c]
Zec 10:1. "Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain."

Hey Tom,
it is my understanding that the Trumpet blowing will summon the bride of Christ home and at the same time usher in the end of the age of grace and the beginning of Old Testament sacrifice. This will be why the Jews will scream for a third temple so they can begin sacrificing again.

The later rain has already started. Some reports are saying as many as 80% of Islamic converts to Christianity have converted becuase of dreams and visions...fulfilling Joel 2.

Of course the Holy Spirit will still be around but will be acting like he did during the OT and will not be indwelling in people....that miracle was only for the Bride of Christ during the age of grace.

There will no doubt be a huge harvest of Christ followers AFTER the rapture because the 144,000 witnesses will be leading people to Christ all over the world...and that will also be PART of the later rain...actually it will be the very end of the rainstorm.

Also it is my understanding that ONLY those believers who trusted Christ during the Age of Grace will be the Bride of Christ. The Tribulation Saints will be in eternity but they will not be part of the Bride. So they must have some other eternal role to play...along with Cherubim, Seraphim and that other races of angels. As will the righteous who were saved by faith in God BEFORE Christ died to save us.

So again to clarify, my understanding is that the later rain has already started and will progess through the blood, fire and smoke of the Tribulation, which will also witness the strange signs in the sky and the moon turning red...before the sun rises of the new Millenium and completes the Day of the Lord.

Remember to the Hebrew....day starts at sunset... so starts with darkness and ends with day.

Hey Tom,
not really sure how to communicate with you but just wanted you to know that I have been praying for you the past few days. Amazing things are happening around the world and obviously you have been given the gift (burden?) of seeing things that most of us can't. I would encourage you to remember the OT prophets and the hardships they endured as God revealed things to them....that NO ONE wanted to hear. It can be a lonely experience for many as God turns you away from the "ways of the world" and focuses you on God's ways. Keep the faith brother! Your rewards are coming!
