That's One BIG Sinkhole!

Down in Guatemala it won't stop raining....and that's on top of a volcano that keeps spewing ash, which makes matters worse.

Sadly, hundreds of folks have died on account of mudslides burying villages and rivers washing folks away as they jump their banks.

But now it gets downright eerie as you look into a massive sinkhole that simply swallowed a three story building. It's over 100 feet deep and looks like a massive drill bit simply augured a big fence post hole right in the middle of the city.

If you haven't seen the photo, you can check out one here; http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/06/01/guatemala.sinkhole/

It made me think of the story of Korah and his supporters who grumbled against Moses and God while wandering in the desert. God opened up the ground and swallowed them all...and the ground closed up over them.

Also as I look at the photo it reminds me of what Peter says when he reminds us that some of the most heinous fallen angels are being kept in pits (silos) under the earth to await the day of judgment. Not ALL of the fallen angels...but some of them who really decided to play outside of the Divine game rules set by God for mankind and planet earth. This photo really looks like a big underground silo.

Is it just me....or does it seem to others as well that the earth is really starting to groan? It's been so defiled by sin and Satan that creation seems like it is screaming for the Millennium...when all things will be remade...the lion will lay down with the lamb....men will trade their swords for plows...and the Prince of Peace will finally take the throne.

Sing with me now...."What a day....glorious day, that will be!"
