Warm Welcome to Gay Pastors

Today the headlines in the New York Times is;

Lutherans Offer Warm Welcome to Gay Pastors

“Today the church is speaking with a clear voice,” the Rev. Jeff R. Johnson, one of the seven gay pastors participating in the ceremony, said at a news conference just before it began. “All people are welcome here, all people are invited to help lead this church, and all people are loved unconditionally by God.”

Yes, Rev. Jeff...it's true that God does love all his people...so much so that he sent his Only Begotten Son to die for us so that we may have peace with God. But by your rationale...you should also be welcoming pedophiles, fornicators, drunkards, people who enjoy sex with animals and every other form of sexual perversion. So how long til you have the vote to allow those folks in as pastors?

Woe to those who would lead people away from The Truth. It would have been better for them if a millstone was tied around their necks and then thrown into the sea.

1 Timothy 4 tells us clearly that in the Last Days men will be believing doctrines of demons. I hate to say it, (since I was confirmed at an ELCA church) but it appears that Apostle Paul sure got this one right.

Acts 20:30
Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.

According to I CORINTHIANS 6:9-11:
(1) Fornicators shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
(2) Idolaters shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
(3) Adulterers shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
(5) Homosexuals shall not enter the kingdom of God.
(6) Thieves shall not enter the kingdom of God.
(7). The covetous will not enter the kingdom of God.
(8) Drunkards shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
(9) Revilers shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Seems clear to me.
