Seminary Deception

We know the Methodists have been leading the charge into relativism for quite some time now. Of course the Lutherans (ELCA) and other denominations have been following them quickly into the mud.

But now we have reached a new level of, "lost"...even for the Methodists. Here is the title of the article in Time Magazine;

Training Pastors, Rabbis, and Imams Together

When Jerry Campbell became president of California's renowned Claremont School of Theology four years ago, low enrollment and in-the-red books threatened to close the 125-year-old institution. But since Claremont is the only United Methodist seminary west of Denver, Campbell resolved to find a way to stay open.

Drawing from classic American entrepreneurial wisdom — when faced with extinction, innovate — and a commitment to engage today's multi-faith culture, this fall Claremont will commence a first on U.S. soil: a "theological university" to train future pastors, imams, and rabbis under one roof. The experiment to end isolated clerical training brings together Claremont, the Islamic Center of Southern California (ICSC) and the Academy for Jewish Religion California. The hope of officials at all three organizations is that when leaders study their own religious traditions together alongside friends of other faiths, they will develop the respect and wisdom necessary to transform America's fractured religious outlook.

Did you catch that? As if the Word of God is just another business that some marketing guy can "innovate" a great idea to keep the money flowing.

How about the, "transforming America's religious outlook"....why not just paste up a billboard outside the school that says, "Working hard towards Satan's goal of a one-world-religion."

Oh yeah....as if this wasn't enough, they hope to add Buddhist and Hindu training at the same place.

And because Claremont still needs to find Buddhist and Hindu partners, hire up to 25 new professors, and raise an additional $104 million to pay for endowed faculty chairs and facility expansion, Campbell estimated that it will be nearly 10 years before the multi-faith project is in full swing.

I would sure hope they would soon be training Voodoo Priests, Shamans, Pagans and Satanists at this school as well. Why stop at only 5 religions?

It's amazing how quickly we have fallen into the pit.

"Wide is the road to destruction and MANY will be on it. Narrow is the path to life and few will be on it.".....says Jesus.

If the trumpet blows tomorrow.....how many is a "few"?

I hate to say it, but I don't believe it is going to be anywhere close to the 1.5 billion folks who claim to be Christians.

Keep working to snatch people from the fire. As Paul would say....the finish line is in sight.

Was Darwin Wrong? An Alternative Theory Emerges.

Until now, Charles Darwin's concept of survival of the fittest and natural selection has been considered the key to the evolution of all living things.

But a new study by researchers at the University of Bristol in England and published in Biology Letters suggests "living space," not competition between species, is responsible for evolutionary patterns throughout history.

Using fossils to focus on land animals, the research team suggests that animals have survived more easily in favorable environments that offered more food and less chance of being hunted and eaten by other animals.

Survival of the fittest: illustration of Albertosaurus chasing three Parksosaurus dinosaurs. At Yale University in Connecticut, evolutionary biologist Stephen Stearns isn't convinced by the study findings.

"They have an interesting pattern, but I think they misinterpreted it. Basically, what they show is that a lot of evolution is driven by organisms moving into new roles or onto land or into new areas, and they argue that that's evidence that competition is not so important," Stearns told AOL News.

Stephen Hawking: God Has No Role in Universe

The physicist changes his mind and claims that there was no divine intervention in the creation of the universe.

Entering the ongoing debate between faith and science, renowned British scientist Stephen Hawking claims that modern physics has now proved that God played no role in the creation of the universe.

In a new book -- "The Grand Design," co-written with American physicist Leonard Mlodinow -- the theoretical physicist sets out to demolish Sir Isaac Newton's claim that an "intelligent and powerful Being" must have shaped the universe, which he believed could not have emerged from chaos. Hawking and Mlodinow rule out the possibility of divine intervention, saying that new theories have made the idea of a supernatural creator redundant.

"Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing," the pair write, in an extract published in today's London Times. "Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist. It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the Universe going."

And in a 2007 interview, he appeared to portray himself as an agnostic. "I believe the universe is governed by the laws of science," he told the BBC. "The laws may have been decreed by God, but God does not intervene to break the laws."

Hawking now argues that Newton's assertion that the laws of nature cannot alone explain the existence of life and the universe started to fall apart in 1992, when astronomers discovered the first extrasolar planets (planets beyond our own solar system) orbiting other sunlike stars.

SO PEOPLE WILL SAY; "WELL STEVEN HAWKING IS A GENIUS SO HE MUST BE RIGHT." TOO BAD HE'S BELIVING A LIE. ~APRIL

ROMANS 1:18-22
For God's [holy] wrath and indignation are revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in their wickedness repress and hinder the truth and make it inoperative.

For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them.

For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification],

Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and [c]godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened.

Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves].
