Could Jordan be Next Domino?

Here is the headline just surfacing;

Jordan's king fires Cabinet amid protests

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — Jordan's King Abdullah II fired his government Tuesday in the wake of street protests and asked an ex-prime minister to form a new Cabinet, ordering him to launch immediate political reforms.

The dismissal follows several large protests across Jordan— inspired by similar demonstrations in Tunisia and Egypt — calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Samir Rifai, who is blamed for a rise in fuel and food prices and slowed political reforms.

In Bible study last night we read Psalm 83 and talked about who all the players are in that Psalm. As you can see, the above headline comes from Amman....named after Lot's incestuous union with his own daughter. And yes, Ammon (northern Jordan) is one of the named players, as is Moab, which is now southern Jordan. Moab was the other son of Lot from his incestuous union with his OTHER daughter.

We will need to watch these developments very closely.

Hi Dennis,

I speculate that the big Domino that gets the hooks in the bear to draw him to the war of Ezekiel will be Isaiah 17, Amos 1:3, and Jeremiah 49 23:27. When something is mentioned 3 times it is best to take notice. I suspect that after this that the promised one is revealed. The destruction of Damascus is also referenced by Al-Barzanji.

In Damascus a village called “Harasta” will be demolished. The name Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be called in the heavens and everyone in the East and West will hear this call! Those sleeping will wake up, those standing will sit down and those sitting down will stand on their feet. (Al-Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah li-ashrat al-sa'ah, p.164-165)

Yours in Christ,

Tom
