If the Federal Government was a Family....

Many of you have heard of the financial guy named Dave Ramsey who is a regular on Christian radio stations.

A reader sent me this Dave Ramsey quote to help us better understand the current pickle the Federal Government is in.

"If the federal government was a family, they would be making $58,000 a year, they spend $75,000 a year, & are $327,000 in credit card debt. They are currently proposing BIG spending cuts to reduce their spending to $72,000 a year. These are the actual proportions of the federal budget & debt, reduced to a level that we can understand"

Amazing to think about. 

But please remember one VERY important difference between family and federal government.....THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OWNS ACCESS TO THE PRINTING PRESS AND CAN DEVALUE OUR MONEY BY PRINTING MORE ANY TIME IT CHOOSES.
