Iran Threatens U.S. East Coast

Anybody who has read Joel Rosenberg's books remember the scene of an Iranian freight ship coming within a few hundred miles of New York, then opening a steel container to reveal a nuclear missile launcher and then launching a nuclear attack on America.  Needless to say...it was a pretty intense part of the book.

Today in the headline we find this:

Iran Threatens the US East Coast

Iran is threatening to send war ships to the East Coast of the United States in a major escalation with America.

The threat comes barely a week after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was welcomed at the podium of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Iranian Navy head Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari declared, “Like the arrogant powers that are present near our marine borders, we will also have a power presence close to American marine borders.”

The Iranian president has repeatedly vowed to wipe Israel off the map.

See it here;  http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/148369

I know what we need to do....let's dispatch Team Obama to tell these folks they need to unclench their fists....so we can teach them the wonderful benefits of democracy, religious freedom and the pursuit of happiness!!

Has everyone sensed the serious uptick in war talk coming from numerous nations?  Sounds to me like "wars and rumors of war".

Hi Dennis,

They posted the news of the deployment to the Atlantic on fars news months ago.

Have a look at this one today. It only gets better.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian Navy plans to start designing and building heavy vessels such as aircraft carriers, a senior Iranian Navy commander announced on Wednesday.

Here is a thought. We could out source construction of the Iranian Aircraft Carriers here in the US as part of our jobs package.

Peace,

Tom
