Rick Warren....Scary Stuff

Rick Warren is considered by some to be "America's pastor".  He is a best selling Christian author and sold millions of copies of his books PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE and PURPOSE DRIVEN CHURCH.

About 10 years ago, those with discernment sensed something wrong with Rick.  They didn't care for the ways he used the "patterns of the world" to build his church attendance.  Of course those who were themselves into building congregations with 10,000 members, instantly were critical of those with discernment who would dare to sound the alarm.

Today we have some scary confirmation that Rick may have revealed his hand....and that he is one who may join the push for a one world religion that some refer to as CHRISLAM.

The Rev. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest and one of America's most influential Christian leaders, has embarked on an effort to heal divisions between evangelical Christians and Muslims by partnering with Southern California mosques and proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

The effort, informally dubbed King's Way, caps years of outreach between Warren and Muslims. Warren has broken Ramadan fasts at a Mission Viejo mosque, met Muslim leaders abroad and addressed 8,000 Muslims at a national convention in Washington D.C.

Saddleback worshippers have invited Muslims to Christmas dinner and played interfaith soccer at a picnic in Irvine attended by more than 300 people. (The game pitted pastors and imams against teens from both faiths. The teens won.)

The effort by a prominent Christian leader to bridge what polls show is a deep rift between Muslims and evangelical Christians culminated in December at a dinner at Saddleback attended by 300 Muslims and members of Saddleback's congregation.

At the dinner, Abraham Meulenberg, a Saddleback pastor in charge of interfaith outreach, and Jihad Turk, director of religious affairs at a mosque in Los Angeles, introduced King's Way as "a path to end the 1,400 years of misunderstanding between Muslims and Christians."

Holy misunderstanding!!  Yes there has been 1400 years of misunderstanding between Muslims and Christians because the Muslims started butchering every Christian they could find and would have taken over the world was it not for the Christian Crusades!!

Do we not understand Paul's VERY CLEAR warning to us in Galatians 1?
 ⁶ I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— ⁷ which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. ⁸ But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! ⁹ As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

Do we not understand that the foundations of Islam were given to an illiterate, perverse man named Muhammad by a fallen angel claiming to be Gabriel...who then proceeded to give Muhammad a different Gospel than the one Paul had been given 700 years earlier by Jesus Christ?!?!

This is really sad folks.  If the Lord tarries....how many more "Christians" will find themselves breaking bread in a shrine to a false god named Allah.

Was God pleased when the Israelites co-mingled their worship with Ashteroth, Baal, or Mammon?  Of course not!!  He abhorred it!!  It was an abomination and usually many Israelites would die in the coming wrath of God for their blatant disobedience.

Friends, God is NEVER CHANGING....which means he will always be a jealous God.  So figure it out...what do you think is coming for those who would submit to the idea of CHRISLAM?

Pray for the lost souls who are lost in Islam.  Befriend them if they are your co-workers or neighbors.  But do so with the INTENT PURPOSE of giving them the Truth about Jesus Christ...and thereby playing your part in "snatching them from the fire."
