Hamas and Fatah Kiss and Make Up

Remember when Hamas decided that Fatah wasn't acting enough like terrorists....so they fought a bloody civil war in the streets of Gaza and Hamas chased Fatah out?

Do you remember how Hamas now rules the Gaza strip?

Do you remember how Fatah is the elected party of the PLO and now rules from The West Bank because they will be killed if they venture into Gaza?

Do you remember how the curse of Ishmael said, "Your hand will be against your brothers..."?

Well....if you are a Islamic terrorist or if you just really hate Israel...this next article may really warm your heart.

Seventeen members of the Palestinian Fatah movement forced to flee the Gaza Strip in 2007 were allowed back on Monday, in a move Hamas considered an act of goodwill that will help set the stage for Palestinian reconciliation.

Hamas interior ministry spokesman Islam Shahwan said 10 Fatah members entered Gaza at noon Monday through the Rafah border crossing and were not questioned by Hamas. The other seven members will enter at a later stage, he said.

Over 100 men were killed and hundreds wounded in clashes between Hamas and Fatah in June 2007, ending in Hamas’s complete takeover of the Gaza Strip. At least two Fatah officials were thrown from the rooftops of high-rises and most party officials were forced out of Gaza.

Well isn't that nice?  Sounds like a wonderful bunch of people to run a wonderful new Islamist state called Palestine!

The world should be so happy with the United Nations vote!

Hi there,

Hamas and Fatah friends... Smoochy face... Not so much. Here is a short clip from Hamas Leader Mahmoud Al-Zahhar against Mahmoud Abbas: Anyone Who Wants to Liberate Palestine Should Pick Up a Gun.

These two will not share power. Typically the more violent advance to power. Funny how that works in history.

Recognition for the Palestinians just makes the prize greater for the group that seizes power. If I were Abbas I would not be worried about Israel but my own so called country men. That gun that Hamas picks up will likely be pointed at anything that blocks their assent to power.

Peace,

Tom
