Scientists Discover Adultery Gene AND Divorce Gene

"Baby, I'm telling you the truth!!  Look at my medical chart!!  I have the adultery gene and I COULDN'T NOT screw my old girlfriend!"

OR---

"Dear, can we talk?  I just came from my gynaecologist and he confirmed why I have no strong feeling towards you. I have the divorce gene...so I want a divorce."

How about a gay gene, a bi-sexual gene, selfish gene, lustful gene, thievery gene, lying gene, polygamy gene, fat gene, addiction gene, rebellious gene?  If science can find the gene....can we use that to support our behavior?  Why not??

Of course many of those in favor of endorsing gay marriage base their beliefs on the fact they believe all gays have the GAY GENE.

But will they say the same thing about the adultery gene?  Will all the women who support gay-marriage also support adulterous behavior when it involves their own husbands?

Did you know that scientists have discovered an actual gene that they believe may have a correlation to a man’s likelihood of cheating on his partner? This gene is called allele 334 (if you had a habit of sleeping through your biology class, like me, an allele is part of a chromosome). A man can have anywhere from zero to two copies of these allele in his unique genetic make up.

Guys with two of these “adultery genes” were more likely to have problems in a committed relationship, they were less likely to get married, and the women that they were in relationships with reported more dissatisfaction with the relationship.

Scientists at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden claim to have identified a divorce gene in females.

Women who inherit this variation of a common gene are, according to the study, less likely to get married and if they do marry, they are 50% more likely to have a troubled relationship.

The gene supposedly affects the way women process oxytocin, which is a natural hormone known to promote feelings of love and maternal affection.

"But honey, I HAVE TO LOOK AT PORN on the Internet.  I have the LUST GENE!!  The doctor confirmed it today!  I don't need you scorn...I need your pity and a hug!"
