It's Gonna Get Bad Between Israel and USA

I'll just let you guys read this one for yourselves.  I believe most of my readers are on the same page that nations who curse Israel will one day be cursed by God...and the nations who try and divide up the Holy Land will also one day find themselves divided.

Dysfunctional. Rocky. Frosty. There are a variety of terms pundits have used to describe the relationship between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama over the past five years. Though the atmospherics improved somewhat after Obama’s 2013 trip to Israel, the relationship has chilled again in the wake of the nuclear deal with.

And it's about to get a lot worse.

Only five years ago, Obama was a political and cultural phenomenon, a transformative leader who millions of young Americans expected to usher in age of domestic unity and international cooperation. Famous singers turned campaign speeches into songs. His photograph became an iconic piece of pop art. Health care would become affordable and painless, supporters dreamed, America’s erstwhile enemies would sit down and find common ground with this new president, oceans would stop rising. The expectations even came complete with a Nobel Prize, which the award committee voted on only 12 days after he took office.

Kerry himself has already tried to force Israel’s hand by setting it up for blame if (it’s almost certainly when) talks fail in the spring.

“I mean does Israel want a third Intifada?” he asked during a November interview with Channel 2. “Israel says, ‘Oh we feel safe today, we have the wall. We’re not in a day to day conflict’,” said Kerry. “I’ve got news for you. Today’s status quo will not be tomorrow’s…” Israel’s neighbors, he warned, will “begin to push in a different way.”

The secretary went on: “If we do not resolve the issues between Palestinians and Israelis, if we do not find a way to find peace, there will be an increasing isolation of Israel, there will be an increasing campaign of delegitimization of Israel that’s been taking place on an international basis.”

Incredible!!  As if Team Obama doesn't have enough headaches of its own right here...now they are putting on a massive push to pressure Israel??

This will NOT end well....for us.

U.S. giving to Israel = $3.1 billion (annually) and counting...how much qualifies for "blessing Israel"?

Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you [Abram], and him who dishonors you [Abram] I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." (i.e. the gospel message)

Galatians 3:
8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.” 9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Romans 9:6:
For not all who are descended from (national) Israel belong to (true) Israel (i.e. Christ)

Galatians 6:16
Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.

Galatians 3:
26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.

How dispensationalists tear Christ in two:
http://www.hope-aurora.org/pages/DispensationalismWhatandWhyNot.html
"Dispensationalism (i.e. separate Israel vs. church) is not an isolated false teaching, it is an over-arching theological system; it is an eschatology (doctrine of the end times), an ecclesiology (doctrine of the church), soteriology (doctrine of salvation), a hermeneutic (approach to the Scriptures) and so forth. Like a cancer, dispensational theology spreads into every part, making the whole body of theology critically ill."

Please pray for my Palestinian brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. And I pray your eyes will be opened to rightly handling the word of God.

Thanks for your comments, rj. Yes our brothers and sisters in Christ are suffering terribly in Iraq, Nigeria, North Korea, China, Afghanistan, Syria and the land called Palestine. "In this world you WILL have troubles...", said Jesus. So we HAVE been in prayer for those believers and NO DOUBT the Western Church needs to wake up from its slumber and realize that persecution is growing...because Satan knows that his time is short.

However, I couldn't disagree with you more about the quote you posted about dispensationalism being a false teaching.

Israel and the Jews are back in the land and GOD IS NOT FINISHED with the story that started with Israel...through the descendants of Isaac. The Jews HAVE been a blessing to the earth...not only in delivering the Word but in delivering the Gospel...and not only that but look at what the Jewish people have given us!! Have you ever noticed how many Nobel prizes have gone to Jews?? Have you seen how many inventions and innovations the Jews have given to the world?? And even now we have a mess in practically every Arab/Muslim nation that exists...and yet Israel continues to be a safe-haven of civility, even though they are surrounded by Islamic ignorance and hatred.

How can you explain the modern day miracle that IS the nation of Israel?...unless you tie it to the promises that God made to Israel regarding Isaac?

Of course you are familiar with many of the stories of Muslims who grew up hating Israel and Jews until they accepted Jesus Christ as their savior...and did a 180 turn and now love Israel and the Jews.

No doubt the Middle East is an absolute mess. The stories coming out of Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq are almost unbelievable.

The world is about to get a lot darker...and the days for Israel will also get a lot darker before Jesus Messiah returns. But for those of us who have accepted Christ and asked Him to be our savior, we have an exciting time ahead to look forward to. Paul is very clear in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel....after that we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds...and so will be with the Lord forever."

Clearly, that is our blessed hope...and as the bloom continues on the fig tree (Israel) we can look forward to ALL the promises of God being fulfilled...as Christ takes his bride, the Church.

That's not a false teaching...unless you are prepared to say that Apostle Paul was a false teacher.

I pray that our Arab brothers and sisters who have TRULY accepted Jesus as savior will be able to endure the trials they are currently enduring...and that soon they will be taken in to the air when Christ comes with a loud shout.

What does America give to Egypt, Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and others...many of whose inhabitants openly call for the destruction of Israel and the killing of all Jews? Does the $3 billion we give Israel offset the money we give to the folks who hate her?...and us??
