ObamaCare Lack of Transparency
Remember when Obama said he was going to be the most transparent President to ever take the office? He was going to have a love affair with all the journalists...because 99% of them supported him! What could be a happier time! The first black President, full of charm, supported by all the main stream media outlets! They were going to HOPE AND CHANGE the world!! Next stop...President of the World!!
Yeah...right.
We have become less interested in politics these last 6 years...mainly because we have come to realize that a Democrat or Republican is not going to fix what ails America now. Nope! We have a serious spiritual problem. A famine of the Word of God has taken over the land and we are now suffering from a moral collapse.
Today, a reader sent me this article about how one of the main architects of ObamaCare admitted that they shoved the thing through by taking advantage of a LACK OF TRANSPARENCY.
In a newly surfaced video, one of Obamacare’s architects admits a “lack of transparency” helped the Obama administration and congressional Democrats pass the Affordable Care Act. The conservative group American Commitment posted Jonathan Gruber’s remarks, reportedly from an Oct. 17, 2013, event, on YouTube.
“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” says the MIT economist who helped write Obamacare. “And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.”

Seriously!!! It seems with every passing day there is another lie, another half truth, another cover-up, another golf game, another excuse! No wonder the people of America are groaning!

could you please give us some context on that passage? Please apply it the the Germans like Pastor Bonhoffer who were resisting the rise of Adolf Hitler and were killed for it. Let me know what you think about politicians who approve of and put in place laws to legalize the murder of unborn children. Should we pay the tax if one day our authorities impose an "abortion tax" on everyone? Should Hobby Lobby have shut their traps about being mandated to give money in health insurance premiums they knew would go for abortion? Should the cake bakers from New Mexico have shut their mouths and celebrated the gay marriage they were being asked to serve because the law of the land said they should? Should Daniel have bowed down to the statue in Babylon when he was ordered to? If we find ourselves in Muslim lands and the call to prayer sounds out 5 times per day because that's the law....would you condone bowing to Allah because the law says so? We pray for Obama and our leaders. There is no doubt that Obama is in power because God has allowed him to be. That doesn't change the truth of the Proverb I posted; "...the people groan."
I happen to think God's Word is absolutely true, and that the Holy Spirit speaks clearly. I don't need to "context" it away and undo what God has said.
Got it! So you would have been a good little Nazi under Hitler's legal government....and would have followed all your orders! Wait....that's exactly what all the guards at the concentration camps said! "Just doing what the government ordered! ". I also happen to believe Gods word is true. Are you then pro-abortion and giving 54 million legal abortions all a big thumbs up just because our government has said its legal? I would encourage you to re-read verse 3 from the passage you posted and then give it some thought as you read the rest of the story.
