Now What is the Pope Saying?

Silly Pope!  Don't you realize that the world will NEVER know peace until the Prince of Peace comes?

How much clearer can Jesus get when He says, "There WILL BE WARS and RUMORS of war...."  "If those days were not cut short (by His return) NO FLESH would survive."

But yet the liberals wag their fingers, hang their heads and can't figure out for the life of them why so many "religious fanatics" (they can't say Muslim) and world leaders won't hop on the peace train?

Pope Francis has declared in a sermon that Christmas this year will be a “charade” because “the whole world is at war”.

The pontiff’s speech at the Vatican came after terrorist attacks in France claimed the lives of 129 people; a Russian plane was bombed and dozens of people were killed in a double suicide attack in Lebanon.

Speaking during Mass at the Casa Santa Maria, he said: “We are close to Christmas. There will be lights, there will be parties, bright trees, even Nativity scenes – all decked out – while the world continues to wage war.”

“It’s all a charade. The world has not understood the way of peace. The whole world is at war.”

Is the Pope suggesting that WWIII may be just around the corner?

And how exactly, Mr. Pope, was the world supposed to understand the "way of peace"?  Did Baby Jesus bring it to the manger in Bethlehem?  Did Jacob and Esau bring it?  Maybe Isaac and Ishmael? The Canaanites, Jebusites or Hittites?  Did Mohummad bring it?  WHO EXACTLY WAS IT, MR POPE, THAT BROUGHT THE PEACE WE HAVE NOT UNDERSTOOD??

Of course most of my readers know the whole story that Jesus (the creator of the universe) first came to Bethlehem in the most staggering display of humility that the universe will ever see, to suffer and die as atonement for all repentant sinners.  But HE DID NOT COME TO BRING PEACE BETWEEN MEN!  He ONLY came to bring PEACE between God and men!!  Those who accept Christ have peace with God and His coming wrath IS FOREVER REMOVED!!

Matthew 10:34-36 
“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn “‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’

Mr Pope....do you even read your Bible?....or are you here for another more nefarious purpose?

When you are in church this Christmas season the hymn JOY TO THE WORLD will most likely be sung....but please remember this hymn is NOT about Jesus coming as a baby to fulfill the role of suffering servant...no...it's about His return as the KING of the world.  Only then will there be peace on earth.

Joy to the world!  The Lord is Come!!  Let earth receive her King!
