Stephen Hawking Warns Against Contacting Aliens

Atheist Stephen Hawking is warning us again that it might be VERY dangerous to contact "aliens" from other planets.  What good would it do to tell them where we are....and what if they show up to take all our stuff or to kill us all and then take all our stuff?  Or what if they decide that we are tasty-meat and decide to eat us all?

Friends, I kid you not....the smartest folks in the world are asking some serious questions about aliens.

Humanity should be wary of seeking out contact with alien civilizations, Stephen Hawking has warned once again.

In 2010, the famed astrophysicist said that intelligent aliens may be rapacious marauders, roaming the cosmos in search of resources to plunder and planets to conquer and colonize. He reiterates that basic concern in "Stephen Hawking's Favorite Places," a new documentary streaming now on the CuriosityStream video service.

"One day, we might receive a signal from a planet like this," Hawking says in the documentary, referring to a potentially habitable alien world known as Gliese 832c. "But we should be wary of answering back. Meeting an advanced civilization could be like Native Americans encountering Columbus. That didn't turn out so well."

For what it's worth, some other astronomers believe Hawking's caution is unwarranted. Any alien civilization advanced enough to come to Earth would surely already know of humans' existence via the radio and TV signals that humanity has been sending out into space since 1900 or so, this line of thinking goes.

I found this article yesterday right on the front of Google News.  Are you starting to get the idea that mankind is being prepped to accept that alien life is all over the universe?  Furthermore, we will be told that this life certainly must be much more "advanced" than we are.

Will mankind believe whatever stories the "aliens" tell about creating life or seeding life, or about God or Jesus?  How will we fact check them?

1 John 4:1 tells us we better be ready to test the spirits if we actually are witness to "aliens" telling stories....

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

"Yeah, but Dennis...that passage tells us how to test the SPIRITS.....these aliens might be telling the truth using their own flesh and blood!  Maybe they evolved over billions and billions of years just like we did?"

1 Peter 3
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. 19 After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built.

Yep....read that passage over and over again....then go to Genesis 6 and read that chapter again. Who exactly were these SPIRITS that Jesus made a proclamation to after he was raised from the dead?  And why are they in some type of SPIRIT PRISON....and what exactly did these spirits do that Peter referred to their behavior as "disobedient"?
