United Nations is Upset About Hezbollah's Pagers and Walkies Blowing up

Right on schedule, a main hater of Israel, the United Nations, is issuing a "statement of solidarity" with the victims of the pager blasts.

A group of United Nations experts released a stern statement after pagers and walkie-talkies exploded this week across Lebanon, saying the attacks “violate the human right to life” and calling them “terrifying” violations of international law.

“These attacks violate the human right to life, absent any indication that the victims posed an imminent lethal threat to anyone else at the time,” the experts said in a news release.

“Such attacks require prompt, independent investigation to establish the truth and enable accountability for the crime of murder,” they said.

“We express our deepest solidarity to the victims of these attacks,” they added.

The experts said international humanitarian law may have been breached as it was impossible to know who held the devices at the time they exploded.

“Simultaneous attacks by thousands of devices would inevitably violate humanitarian law, by failing to verify each target, and distinguish between protected civilians and those who could potentially be attacked for taking a direct part in hostilities,” it said.

At least 37 people died in the two attacks across Tuesday and Wednesday, and more than 3,000 others were injured.

Hezbollah's sole purpose is to eliminate Israel.  So kudos to Israel!  They aren't going to sit around and wait for Hezbollah to shoot more missiles at them.  Of course Hezbollah will have to respond with some type of show of strength but they better be very careful because the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is going to rock their world if they start to launch a massive missile barrage into Israel.

Also, remember that the UN has no enforcement capabilities...so their words simply don't carry any weight...but they dream of the day when they can have their own army!
