Mother Nature

Syndicated columnist Thomas Friedman (St. Louis Park, MN, I think?) is a big talking head and obviously believes that global warming ( AKA-"climate change" just in case it gets cold) is going to be the death of us all.

We don't have to read very far into his article today to find that he believes that Mother Nature is the end all of end alls.

We’ve basically decided to keep pumping greenhouse gases into Mother Nature’s operating system and take our chances that the results will be benign — even though a vast majority of scientists warn that this will not be so. Fasten your seat belts. As the environmentalist Rob Watson likes to say: “Mother Nature is just chemistry, biology and physics. That’s all she is.”

See it here; http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/25/opinion/25friedman.html?src=me&ref=general

Wow! What a helpless, terrifying belief to have!! There is nothing else in the universe that is holding this all together...nothing else that created anything...nothing that cares (or knows?) how everything started and how everything will end??

No wonder these liberals are getting so mad!! They believe that their god is being destroyed....and once she is gone....she is gone. After all, "that's all she is!"

He does have one thing right though when he tells us all to, "Fasten your seat belts."

So sad to see the hopelessness that those in the world have. I am saved by the blood of Jesus. I praise God that we have a "blessed hope". God's love for us is so wonderful.

Isaiah 43:4
Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give men in exchange for you, and people in exchange for your life.

Our Blessed Hope: That Jesus will snatch up his church. We will meet him the air and we will see him as he is.

1 John 3:2
Beloved, we are [even here and] now God's children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is.
