Final Destruction of U.S. Dollar

In our heart of hearts most of us know that it's not possible to just create wealth simply by printing paper bills with $1, $5, $10, $20 and $100 stamped on the paper.  If it was that simple then there would be no poverty anywhere in the world!  The world's governments could just print paper money and hand everyone a few million dollars and poverty would be solved overnight!

So following the deep recession of 2008-2009, why do we believe that America's Federal Reserve and the world's other other central banks have been successful doing it THIS TIME?

"Fool me once, shame on you!...Fool me twice, shame on me!"

Of course there are some very smart people out there called 'experts' who are sounding the alarm that these last rounds of massive, money printing have sewn the seeds of destruction....it's only a matter of time.

Free-marketeers have been derided by Keynesians and other monetarists for predictions of impending doom due to the policies of the Federal Reserve. But if what one of the most erudite and outspoken leaders of the free-market chorus, Jim Grant, says is true, it might be he and his fellow capitalists who get the last (terrifying) laugh.

In an interview with Grant, eminent financial journalist and author of the new book ”The Forgotten Depression: 1921: The Crash That Cured Itself,” Grant explained why the prognostications of those concerned about the collapse of the dollar have to date proven wrong, but he still expects to see the “final destruction or near destruction” of currencies throughout the world.

Nevertheless, for Grant, quantitative easing in and of itself has sown the seeds of the destruction of the dollar and other currencies. Grant stated [during a portion of our discussion that you can find below beginning around 26:46]:

So all of this is…in the books as precedent, and the monetarists and Keynesians are rather preening about the evident success of these interventions, and we can be sure I think that they will not forebear to do more still next time.

There will come a time I think where there will be so much as to frighten even the complacent people on Wall Street, and there will finally be this inflation that has been so long in coming.

But I do believe the end of all this is the final destruction or near destruction of these currencies.

What would it mean to many Americans if they woke up one day and the thousands of dollars they had squirreled away in savings failed to buy a pound of beef, a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread?

"But Dennis, that could NEVER happen here!  This is America!  The most blessed, most innovative, most technologically savvy, most God-fearing nation on earth!"

Yep!  And that's exactly what other great nations have said throughout history...right before their currencies collapsed.

Make no mistake about it...one day it WILL HAPPEN.  Currencies backed by faith alone (fiat currencies) ALWAYS FAIL.  Not sometimes fail but ALWAYS FAIL!

Notice as well that this expert isn't saying the only the US Dollar will fail but that CURRENCIES (plural) will fail.

This should surprise no one who reads their Bible.  The Bible clearly tells us that one day the Antichrist will put together a global financial system that will require a specific mark taken on the body in order for anyone to buy or sell into the system.  Of course it makes commons sense that if a NEW SYSTEM is to be enacted....then the old one needs to get out of the way.

"So Dennis!  That's so scary!!  What should we do???"

First off, "fear not.  All these things MUST HAPPEN," says Jesus.

Secondly, "Lay up your treasures in heaven where moth and rust will not destroy."

Thirdly, let's all reconcile ourselves IN ADVANCE so that IF WE SEE these days come we will not be surprised and we can continue to be salt and light and continue to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ up to the very day the Master returns for us.

Matthew 24
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Wow!!  If Jesus is the Master...is He really going to show up one day and cut certain people to pieces and assign them a place where these is weeping and gnashing of teeth?

That's what Jesus said!  It's up to you to decide whether you believe Him...or not?
