Prisons Become Breeding Grounds for Radical Islam

Jesus told us we were supposed to visit people in prison.  I'm not sure if he meant we are supposed to make sure we visit other BROTHERS in prison...or if we were supposed to visit everyone because He knew what a fertile ground it was to spread the Gospel.  After all, lots of folks have hit the end of themselves when they end up in prison...and are ready for a savior.

That being said, this next article is disturbing....because it's claiming that prisons have become a hot-bed for Islamic conversions.

It was almost nine years ago that then-FBI director Robert Mueller first described the radicalization of U.S prisons to a senate committee. He pointed out that prisoners, both Muslim and Non-Muslim were easy targets for the growing population of radical Islamists inside correctional facilities all over the country. 

His words seem almost prophetic now as survey after survey shows a dramatic rise in the Muslim population thanks to conversions being done with the use of coercive tactics including physical and mental intimidation.

Combine a history of violence with a newly adopted philosophy that glorifies such actions in the name of Allah and you have a deadly combination. Some of the most horrific acts of violence in the last few years have been carried out by former inmates who were radicalized and converted to Islam.

The attacks that were carried out by 'lone wolf' terrorists in Oklahoma and the Canadian capital of Ottawa are strongly believed by the authorities to be a result of this radicalization in prison.

Last month a police officer in New York was hacked to death by Zale Thompson, an ex-convict who had converted to Islam while he was incarcerated. A little further back, Larry James, killed his mother, pregnant wife, three-year-old nice, 16-year-old niece and his own 7-month infant in 2010 for refusing to convert to Islam. Larry himself converted to Islam while he was in prison in 2007. 

There are numerous other examples of attacks like these which can be clearly traced back to the perpetrator’s time in prison with extremist Islamic elements. The United States currently has an estimated 2.4 million people in prison. Almost 15% of those inmates are Muslim. 

This number is incredibly high considering that Muslims make up less than 1% of the total population of the United States. A recent study found that almost one of every three black inmates converted to Islam while in prison. 

This same story is being repeated in prisons across Australia and England. At Whitemoor prison in Britain, Muslims now make up the majority of prisoners and with that majority comes the power to influence and intimidate others. 

Non-Muslims live in constant fear of retribution, do not cook pork in the communal kitchens even though they have every right to do so and complain to prison authorities of being bullied into converting.

This trend is becoming nationwide as Muslims are the fastest growing sector of all prisons in the UK.

Could this be just one more example of how the church has fallen down on what Jesus asked His servants to do while He was away?

So....if 15% of those 2.2 million are Muslims....and may get out of prison as RADICAL Muslims...this could be another real problem coming for America that NO ONE has any secular answers for.

"Hey Dennis, all this talk about religions...Muslims, Lutherans, Buddhists, Hindus, etc....NONE of it really matters!  What's more important is that people are spiritual!  There are a lot of good people out there who don't really need the Bible and a church to be good people!"

Ummm....Jesus, the Creator of the universe would disagree with you....so take it up with Him.
