We Are in Serious Trouble if Clinton is Elected

Are conservatives excited about Donald Trump as the GOP nominee?

I guess some are....but by the looks of the half-empty GOP convention....many are not.

But here's the deal, Donald Trump is not Hillary Clinton.  So in the two-party country in which we currently live we HAVE to choose between the lesser of two evils.

One guy at church said it best, "Hillary as President would be like playing Russian roulette with 6 bullets in your 6-shooter.  At least with Donald as President, you would only have 4...or maybe 5."

Wow.  Has it really come to this?

Yep.  America has already become a nation which we could have never imagined even a decade ago.

As Dr. Robert Jeffress used the word-picture of explosives imploding a building in a recent sermon, "The explosions have already happened to the foundations of our country...we are now sitting in that delay period between the explosions and the inevitable implosion."

Hillary, if elected, will be dangerous for us believers in that she has already said she will go after the first amendment....and one day it will be illegal to read Romans 1 from the church pulpit because it will be deemed as hate speech.  In fact calling anyone or anything a sinner will be put under that same label.

Check out what the WSJ had to say about Hillary and the First Amendment.

Hillary Clinton wants to win over Bernie Sanders voters, and on Saturday she bid for them by reinforcing her promise to rewrite the First Amendment to limit political speech that she and they don’t like.

“Today, I’m announcing that in my first 30 days as President, I will propose a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United and give the American people—all of us—the chance to reclaim our democracy,” Mrs. Clinton said in a taped speech to the Netroots Nation conference of progressives. First 30 days? Who knew the 225-year-old First Amendment was in need of such urgent revision?

Citizens United is the 2010 Supreme Court decision that restored the free-speech and association rights of corporations and unions. That decision was rooted, if we can use that word in polite netroots company, in the language of the First Amendment. The constitutional amendment Mrs. Clinton has in mind would have to rewrite James Madison. Dead white males may be out of progressive favor, but we suspect most Americans still trust Madison more than they do the boys at the Daily Kos.

Mrs. Clinton knows that such an amendment won’t pass, so she also took up the spirit of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s recent comments that she expects a new liberal majority on the Court to rewrite the First Amendment the easier way. “I’ll also appoint Supreme Court justices who understand that this decision was a disaster for our democracy,” Mrs. Clinton said. “And I hope some of the brilliant minds in this room will seek out cases to challenge Citizens United in the courts.” So add one more litmus test for Mrs. Clinton’s Supreme Court nominees.

The presumptive Democratic nominee also said she’ll press the Securities and Exchange Commission to require publicly traded companies to disclose all political spending. The point here is to expose companies and CEOs to public vilification and boycotts if they donate to the wrong causes or candidates. Instead of moving to the center, Mrs. Clinton keeps raising the stakes of this election by moving left.

Friends, if you aren't regularly praying for the Holy Spirit to intervene in the affairs of this country...I would suggest you start....because we are on the very edge of the abyss.
