A Prophecy From God About Trump Presidency?

Have you ever heard or seen someone who said, "And then I heard God clearly tell me...."  and then they will go on to tell you how God told them such and such.

Do you believe those folks?  Should you believe them?  What is the test?

I once had a guy show me the "predictions" that God had "told" him would happen in the next year. He wrote them down and one year later said that 70% of them had come true!

Ummmmm.....so wait....does that mean that God lied to you about 30% of what He was "telling" you?

And of course they brush over that....and go on claiming they are prophets and prophetesses of God Almighty.

Friends, these folks are living on VERY dangerous ground.  If they are claiming to speak for God and 30% of what they are saying doesn't come true....God had a remedy for that.

Deuteronomy 8:12
But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”

Please read and watch the video of the latest prediction that God supposedly told a dude from New York...Donald Trump WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT!!

WORD MANIPULATION
“Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” (Acts 17:11; NIV)
I want to decipher a portion of the transcript of the video above and point out some characteristics of word manipulation and how it can be used in the Church to coerce.
(It is important that you watch the video in its entirety.)
And whether or not the prophecy in this video has been purposely manufactured, I don’t know. (I have my opinion on it.)
The bottom line is we ought not to just receive these things as being from God that people foist upon us carte blanche.
Here’s the transcript (with my comments):

Read transcript and watch video here;  http://www.aheartforgod.org/2016/09/26/classic-manipulative-prophecy-god-said-donald-trump-is-the-next-president/

TRUMP MAY OR MAY NOT BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT
In conclusion, these could be right.
Donald Trump may be the next president.
Or Donald Trump may not be the next president.
There is a 50-50 chance.
It’s a flip of the coin.
If he is president, I expect Colbert and Taylor will take credit for it.
Maybe even write a book?
And if he is not the next president, I’d expect they’ll say they must have missed something “in the Spirit,” sluff it off and move on to their next prophecy.

Jesus warned us about false teachers and charlatans.  Certainly we are living in the age of deception...as I watch this video put out by "followers of Christ"....it gives me a pit in my stomach.

couldn't agree more ... doesn't seem to line up with scripture at all. We know that America, as a whole, is guilty of huge sin (abortion, homosexuality, blatant mocking and disrespect of God). How then are we expecting to be "blessed" by God and have everything turn into smiles and butterflies. "God's going to make the dollar the strongest currency ever"?!?! GIMMEA BREAK ... PUKE!

This seems to line up with an errant line of theology that says "everything's going to get better and then God will return". I don't know these speakers, but I would guess if pressed on the issue, they would consider themselves in line with the "Kingdom Now" theology.

Yes, I believe you are right about Kingdom Now. Also I would throw in some Wealth & Prosperity and Name It & Claim It theology. If you aren't familiar with Jim Bakker here is a link that will get you started. He and his wife Tammy Faye were some of the most known names in America for their fraud and Federal Indictment for swindling millions from the "christian" followers. http://www.newsweek.com/2016/04/08/televangelist-jim-bakker-back-440991.html
