Climate Expert Praises Trump for Pulling Out of Paris "Sham"
Trump seems to continue keeping his election promises when it's up to him. Yesterday he pulled out of the Paris Accord which had been signed by 195 nations to combat climate change. As you can imagine, the world and 100% of the "Mother Earth" crowd are almost suicidal with grief.
But there are some really smart people out there who actually think Trump did a great thing yesterday.
President Trump officially withdrew the United States from the Paris climate accord, and one of the leading climate experts disputing the purported consensus on climate science is praising Trump for making the right decision for the American economy and for sound science.
“I’m glad that Trump had the fortitude to stick it out despite all the attempts to waylay him,” said Dr. Tim Ball, a retired climatologist at the University of Winnipeg and author of “The Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science.”
“He didn’t have to rely on the false science,” Ball told WND and Radio America. “He relied strictly on the economics of it, that it’s a very, very bad deal for the United States. In fact, it’s deliberately designed to punish the United States.”
Ball said the Paris climate accord was simply the latest incarnation of the old Kyoto Protocol from the 1990s that sought to redistribute wealth from the industrial nations. He contends the Green Climate Fund, which is part of the Paris agreement, is the latest effort in that regard.
Ball points out the nonbinding nature of the agreement – which is the only way the deal could be struck – means most nations have not contributed what they’ve pledged to the Green Climate Fund.
Nonetheless, Trump’s decision to withdraw the U.S. from the non-binding deal resulted in howls of protest from critics, with environmental activist Tom Steyer claiming the action was treasonous and CNN’s Fareed Zakaria insisting the move means the U.S. is surrendering its role as leader of the free world.
Ball said none of the criticism is based in actual science.
“They use the environment, and they use the climate, as a vehicle for a political agenda,” he said. “All they can do when you say, ‘I’m not going along with the political agenda,’ is invoke that the sky is falling.”
Ball said many of the political opponents of Trump are simply led to their position by perpetrators of bad science. He said Pope Francis is the perfect example.
“One of the most egregious ones was the pope. The pope got co-opted by (Hans Joachim) Schellnhuber at the Potsdam Institute in Germany. He was the key author for the pope’s encyclical against global warming,” Ball explained.
He said the notion that humans can dictate radical changes to the earth’s climate are the height of arrogance.
“The reality is that the levels of energy involved and the amount of energy that humans put in are so minuscule that it is actually laughable to think that we can control the climate in any way,” Ball said.
Trump did say he was open to renegotiating the Paris agreement or forging new deals with other nations that would be more beneficial to the United States. Ball said those talks should be done only after Trump gets a better handle on genuine climate science.

Do you remember when humans all got together to build the Tower of Babel? That also was the "height of arrogance" on display.
Today we have a large section of people who think we can drive electric cars and change the climate.
Let's remember friends, we have NEVER been to the bottom of the ocean to know how the sea vents spit out hot water to change the ocean temps. We have very limited knowledge about how sun spots or solar storms change the temperature. We have no control over volcanic eruptions that can spit so much ash into the air they could block the sunlight for months.
We are on a huge ball hurtling through space at 60,000 mph heading around the sun and we don't have a steering wheel! To imagine that a bunch of nations are going to come together in Paris and decide that THEY are going to change the climate is laughable.
The globalists are going to be so angry at Trump and America that they most likely will start to seethe.
For those of us who aren't globalists and who believe that GOD IS IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING including the icebergs, sunspots, ocean vents, earth quakes and volcanoes....the announcement yesterday that Trump thwarted the world's wishes once again just gave me one more reason to smile.

Do I agree with everything that Trump says? No. Do I sometimes cringe at the way he says some of the things he says? Yep.
With that said I thought that getting Gorsuch on the Supreme Court was worth having Trump as President. This action is fantastic! Like Joe Soucheray from Garage Logic has said for years all the climate change nonsense is just a big fat money grab. I could not be more pleased that we have pulled out of the Paris deal.
It is funny to here the left go apoplectic over the fact that Trump kept a campaign promise and that he is really just wanting to follow US law. Obama got us into this without the consent of the senate and Trump said he is open to another deal as long as the senate is on board. Go figure.
Funny in that I was just at lunch thinking almost all of the same things you just said! Do I wish Trump would get his finger off the Twitter button and ignore his desire to engage the Mayor of London? Yep. But Trump getting a young guy on the supreme court for LIFE is HUUUUUGE! Am I glad he pulled out of Paris? Yep. If North Korea voted for it...it's gotta be a rotten deal.
