"You Can't Trust the Muslims"

Here is an interesting story that was done last week on CBS Evening News about the Christians being decimated in Iraq.

Not sure how many people care...or how many people yawned and turned it to Entertainment Tonight...but kudos to CBS for not editing this woman when she says, "You can't trust the Muslims."

ALQOSH, Iraq --Mayada Abdul Rhani and her children fled their home after Islamic militants overran Mosul and the neighboring villages.

As a Christian she was forced to make a stark decision: convert to Islam, or face execution.

Now, she told CBS News she doesn't trust any Muslims.

"They recruit and train kids like mine to behead people," Rhani said. "How could I ever live with those people? It was difficult to live with them before ISIS, now it's impossible."

Like thousands of others, she fled to the village of Alqosh, where the entire population is Christian.

The site is also home to the Saint Hormizd monastery, carved out of the mountainside. Its origins date back to the 7th century.

It's one of the oldest symbols of Christianity in the region -- and as ISIS forces Christians out of Mosul and surrounding villages below, it's becoming one of the last.

For the thousands of Christian refugees, it's not just ISIS, known in the region as 'Daesh," that's keeps them from going back. Father Gazwan Baho said people were shocked by the betrayal of Muslim neighbors they'd known for generations.

"Many of them were supporting Daesh," Baho said. "So we know that Daesh will go away from Iraq, maybe not this year, but the next, but the mentality of Daesh will remain in Mosul."

Rhani said even if ISIS is one day defeated, she'll never go back. For Christians, she said, Iraq is gone.

Are we supposed to pray for our enemies?

Yes.

Are we supposed to love our enemies and feel pity for them since they are lost without Christ?

Yes.

Are we supposed to be stupid and ignorant about HOW our enemy works?

No.

Is Islam being used as a tool of Satan who has brainwashed millions of followers to believe they are doing the work of God when really they are doing the work of the Father of All Lies?

Yes.

John 16:2

2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.

Nothing changes....today's Muslims are still killing Jews and killing Christians and the last thing you hear before they cut off your head is "Allah akbar!"....which means, "allah is greater!".  They THINK they are doing a service for God....but in reality Allah is a tool of Satan.

"Allah Akbar" is Arabic for "God is greater" or "God is the greatest". I would be careful telling people that it means "Allah is greater", which technically is a half Arabic and half English statement. I would also be careful telling people "Allah is a tool of Satan" cause you could come across as saying God is a tool of Satan.

I do believe they are worshiping a false God and that their God is a tool of Satan.

http://www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/allah.html

"Allah is the primary Arabic word for God. It means ‘The God.’ There are some minor exceptions. For example, the Bible in some Muslim lands uses a word for God other than Allah (Farsi and Urdu are examples). But for more than five hundred years before Muhammad, the vast majority of Jews and Christians in Arabia called God by the name Allah. How, then, can we say that Allah is an invalid name for God? If it is, to whom have these Jews and Christians been praying?

And what about the 10 to 12 million Arab Christians today? They have been calling God ‘Allah’ in their Bibles, hymns, poems, writings, and worship for over nineteen centuries. What an insult to them when we tell them not to use this word ‘Allah’! Instead of bridging the distance between Muslims and Christians, we widen the gulf of separation between them and us when we promote such a doctrine."

Hi Derek,
thanks for you comments.

In the same way the Mormons came along 1800 years after Christ ascended and CREATED A NEW JESUS...but yet still use His name, this appears to be what the Muslims have done with using the word Allah. I believe it is important to make people know (since the media and most liberal churches never will) that the Muslims are not worshiping the God of the Bible, the God of Israel, Isaac and Jacob.

Maybe a good way to differentiate would be like we do with "God" vs. "god". When we use the little g it means someone's false god. If I was with some Arabic Christians maybe it would be wise to use "Allah" when they speak of "God of the Bible" and "allah" when they speak of the Muslim god?

Of course since we have very few (none) Arabic speaking folks in Buffalo, MN, I just want to get my point across to my readers that the god of Islam (allah) IS NOT the God of Israel.

By your comments above, it would appear that we both agree on this.

This is from an article on Whalid Shoebat's website.

"Muslims Throw Christian Woman In Prison, Force Her To Cover Her Face, And Sentence Her To Death, And Tell Her That The Only Way To Escape Is To Praise Allah"

Of course if the woman said, "I"ll be happy to praise Allah because that is the name for my God too!"....there would be some confusion and everyone knows that's NOT what the Muslims intended.

One of the tenets of the faith for Islam is "There is no god buy allah." If allah is the Arabic name for God then Arabic speaking Christians should have no problem uttering those words....but clearly they are going to their death in droves for differentiating between Allah and allah.

Those are just some thoughts anyway....but by no means do I have all the answers on Arabic speaking Christians because I don't know any.
