5 Countries Cut Links with Qatar

Just when you thought the Middle East couldn't get any more confusing or dangerous....we read more headlines today coming from the Arab world.

Iran - long at odds with Saudi Arabia and a behind-the-scenes target of the move - immediately blamed US President Donald Trump for setting the stage during his recent trip to Riyadh.

Gulf Arab states and Egypt have already long resented Qatar's support for Islamists, especially the Muslim Brotherhood which they regard as a dangerous political enemy.

The co-ordinated move, with Yemen and Libya's eastern-based government joining in later, created a dramatic rift among the Arab nations, many of which are in OPEC.

Announcing the closure of transport ties with Qatar, the three Gulf states gave Qatari visitors and residents two weeks to leave. Qatar was also expelled from the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen.

Oil giant Saudi Arabia accused Qatar of backing militant groups - some backed by regional arch-rival Iran - and broadcasting their ideology, an apparent reference to Qatar's influential state-owned satellite channel al Jazeera.

"(Qatar) embraces multiple terrorist and sectarian groups aimed at disturbing stability in the region, including the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS (Islamic State) and al-Qaeda, and promotes the message and schemes of these groups through their media constantly," Saudi state news agency SPA said.

It accused Qatar of supporting what it described as Iranian-backed militants in its restive and largely Shi'ite Muslim-populated Eastern region of Qatif and in Bahrain.

Qatar said it was facing a campaign aimed at weakening it, denying it was interfering in the affairs of other countries.

"The campaign of incitement is based on lies that had reached the level of complete fabrications," the Qatari foreign ministry said in a statement.

Iran saw America pulling the strings.

"What is happening is the preliminary result of the sword dance," Hamid Aboutalebi, deputy chief of staff of Iran's President Hassan Rouhani, tweeted in a reference to Donald Trump's recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

Mr Trump and other US officials participated in a traditional sword dance during the trip in which he called on Muslim countries to stand united against Islamist extremists and singled out Iran as a key source of funding and support for militant groups.

I believe that our president is not a student of history.  I also believe that Trump does not understand the culture of Saudi Arabia nor does he know anything about the Qur’an.

Saudi Arabia and the United States of America are world’s apart as far as our culture and our history.  But Trump made a speech to the leaders of Saudi Arabia, that was so appalling to me – This is a president who is hastening Bible prophecy and is being used by God (our God – the ONLY God) to usher in the end of days.

President Trump made statements in his speech which inferred that we worship the same God as do the Muslims.  He knows nothing about our God, and it is so apparent from words spoken by him. He obviously has never read from the Qur’an (there is an English translation available to all).  If he had read, he would have seen the jihadi verses. Much like Bush, our president is speaking lies to the world about Islam. He is presenting them as “victims” and the rest of us should be ashamed.

This is hog wash.

Our president took part in a ritual “Sword Dance” with the Saudis.  I believe that Allah is actually Satan. I have stated this for years in my articles.  This shocked and saddened me, but it is clear that God is using this man (Trump) to bring in the events of the last days.  So as I am appalled, I am also excited that the return of our King – the Creator of the Universe, will be coming soon to gather up his bride and take us to our real home in heaven.

What a massive ball of confusion!!

I'm glad the God of Heaven isn't confused!  He knows exactly what is going on!!

It does seem as if events on the ground continue to be prepared for massive delusion, massive war and massive confusion.

Let's remember that our BLESSED HOPE is that soon the Father will tell His Son, Jesus Christ, to "Go and get your bride!  The time is NOW!"
