Sad but True

I remember about 8 or 9 years ago when the Wall Street Journal published an article about missile defense and claimed that one nuclear missile exploding in an American city could start a domino effect and collapse our country with death rates in the millions after just 6 months.

The expert suggested that we drop everything we are doing and race to put a missile defense system in place....because our very lives could be in the balance by North Korea, Iran and even Muslim terrorists who get hold of a nuclear weapon in Pakistan.

 I thought for sure that the 5:30 nightly news would have a story on such an amazing article.

Instead, when I got home and turned on the news, the ONLY thing anyone could talk about for the next few days was that Brittney Spears had just announced a huge, new national music tour she was calling the CIRCUS TOUR.
