Same Jew Hatred That Led to Holocaust Is Back Again

College kids are chanting “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”.  When you ask them what river and what sea, most protesters have no idea it’s the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River.  Of course that’s a call to kill all the Jews and drive them off the land.  Why is it always the Jews that take the heat?  Bible readers know the answer.

*******************

During a recent trip to preach the Gospel in Poland, Franklin Graham, the President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and Samaritan’s Purse, walked through the Nazi’s most infamous and deadly concentration camp “Auschwitz.”

Eighty years ago, this was the place in which the satanically inspired Nazi regime—bent on the eradication of the Jewish people—mercilessly executed over one million Jews.

“Multitudes were gassed to death with cyanide, and their bodies then put into ovens and incinerated,” Graham described, writing in his monthly Decision Magazine column. “In total, the brutal Nazi regime slaughtered more than 6 million Jews across Europe during the Second World War.”

“Auschwitz made me wonder if mankind has learned a lesson. Could such virulent antisemitism ever erupt again?” he asked. “It didn’t take too long to find out.”

Following his preaching in Poland, Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham, was scheduled to meet with missionaries in the Middle East in mid-April. Graham recounted how his plans were interrupted by Iran—a nation whose antisemitic ideology closely resembles that of the Nazi regime.

“Iran, a terrorist state, launched more than 300 missiles and drones against Israel,” Graham explained. “Thanks to defensive assistance from the United States, U.K., and regional forces, most were shot down. Otherwise, many Jewish citizens might have perished—perhaps even more than the 1,200 who died last October when Israel was attacked by Hamas, Iran’s agents on Israel’s border.”

‘Antisemitism Has Infected Much Of American Culture’

Upon returning home, Graham was astonished to find that demands for the extermination of Jewish People, a call often heard from the lips of Adolf Hitler 80 years ago, were being exclaimed from American soil.

“From coast to coast, loud protesters filled streets and took over college campuses, not only claiming to support Palestinians but also raging against Israel,” he lamented. “The protesters seemed oblivious to the brutality of Hamas, which butchered men, women, and children; decapitated babies; and ripped women’s wombs open in the Oct. 7 raid on Israel.”

“Incredibly, college campuses such as Columbia, NYU, Harvard, MIT and Yale—supposedly where America’s best and brightest are educated—were filled with hateful rants and deadly threats from pro-Hamas supporters,” Graham described. “They shouted obscene and despicable rants, such as: ‘We are Hamas … Hamas makes us proud, kill another [Jewish] soldier now … Burn Tel-Aviv to the ground.'”

The evangelist called the scenes “hard to fathom” and highlighted a recent poll which found that “one-third of Gen Z thinks Israel does not have the right to exist as a country.”

“Clearly, antisemitism—the hatred of Jewish people—has infected much of American culture, and remains as poisonous and prevalent as ever on the global stage,” Graham underscored. “I have no idea if there will ever again be anything on the scale of Auschwitz. I certainly hope not, but we must be ever vigilant.”

Why Does The World Hate The Jewish People?

The Jewish people have been on the receiving end of an irrational hatred for thousands of years. Antisemitism did not start or end with the Nazi regime. As Graham highlighted, “The Bible gives a straightforward answer for those who have so fervently despised the Jews through the centuries.”

“I believe it is because God chose them out of all the nations on Earth as His special people in order to bring us a Savior,” he stated. “He didn’t choose the Scots or the Irish or any other people group. As a result, the devil and all his demons do everything they can to destroy the nation of Israel, to destroy the Jewish people.”

What’s Up With All the Tornadoes?

America started to get pounded by tornadoes this spring, but they also have been popping up in very rare places.  Add in all the earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and major flooding with major droughts, and the world seems like it’s groaning very loudly as it awaits its redemption.

Biden Greenlights Missile Attacks on Russian Mainland

The war in Ukraine won’t go away and seems to be escalating.  This is how nations end up at war.  Yes, we want to stop Russia, but at what cost?

******

The Kremlin has warned the United States is facing potentially “fatal consequences” after the Biden regime greenlighted Ukrainian missile strikes on targets within the Russian mainland.

“I would like to warn American leaders against miscalculations that could have fatal consequences,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said, according to the Russian state news agency RIA. “For unknown reasons, they underestimate the seriousness of the rebuff they may receive.”

“I urge these figures (in the U.S.) … to spend some of their time, which they apparently spend on some kind of video games, judging by the lightness of their approach, on studying what was said in detail by Putin,” Ryabkov said, adding that Putin had given “a very significant warning and it must be taken with the utmost seriousness.”

“Constant escalation can lead to serious consequences,” Putin told reporters in Tashkent last week. “If these serious consequences occur in Europe, how will the United States behave, bearing in mind our parity in the field of strategic weapons?”

A Shoplifting Tsunami

Lawlessness will increase.  People no longer fear the Lord.  “Thou shall not steal”is a joke that few actually believe.  People no longer fear police so they walk into stores and just walk out with billions of dollars worth of goods.  And remember, we’ve NEVER seen anything like this.

*******************

We are right in the middle of a tsunami of shoplifting that never seems to end, and as a result major retailers are closing down locations in major cities all over the country.  A few years ago, videos of brazen shoplifters ruthlessly looting retail stores were shocking everyone, but now this sort of thing is so common that very few of us are shocked anymore.  We have come to expect that our retail stores will be regularly looted because this is who we have become as a nation.  Sadly, even many of our politicians aren’t too concerned that the impoverished masses are stealing billions of dollars worth of merchandise from our major retailers.  Like so many others, maybe they figure that those retailers won’t even miss what is being taken.  But the truth is that they do miss what is being taken, and CEOs have been complaining very loudly about it

For much of the past year or so, executives at big retailers did something unusual: They talked about theft in their stores. A lot.

Walmart’s CEO warned it could lead to store closures and higher prices. Target’s CEO said it was costing the chain upward of a billion dollars. Home Depot’s finance chief called it a “consistent pressure” that the chain is “tackling every day.”

With a backdrop of viral videos showing brazen and violent thieves, crime became a common theme on retailers’ typically dry quarterly earnings calls. Executives often mentioned “shrink” — inventory missing for one reason or another — as a factor behind declining profits. The list grew long: Macy’s, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, T.J.Maxx, Dollar General.

Year after year, things get even worse.

It is being reported that “revenue loss to theft has been steadily rising since 2016”, and “shrink” is now costing our retailers more than 100 billion dollars a year.

That is about the size of Russia’s entire military budget for 2024.

Just think about that for a few moments.

We have never seen anything like this before.

12 "Uncomfortable 'Truths' About Christianity"

I turned on my laptop this morning and opened a new tab on Microsoft Start.  Right on the first page was an article titled "12 Uncomfortable Truths About Christianity", so of course had to take a look to see what the liberals and atheists running Microsoft were going to tell me about TRUTH and also about Christianity.  So lets see what they had to say and how much blasphemy they can muster in one article!

Christianity Can’t Solve the World’s Problems

In addition to Christianity not solving all personal problems, it also can’t solve the world’s problems. It doesn’t cure diseases or eliminate poverty. No religion does. Instead, it offers hope and guidance during difficult times. It teaches love and encourages serving others. But it doesn’t promise there won’t be any loss or suffering.

OK...I can live with that.  Christianity won't solve poverty because the poor will always be with us and suffering will always be on earth because sin is on earth.

Christianity is Not for Everyone

Christianity may be taught as the only path. Still, hundreds of religions exist, many of which talk about a similar god. So, for one, it’s not the only way to God. And the Christian God is also not the only God out there. Some people find peace and contentment with Christianity and its God; others choose a different path that brings them peace.

And here we go!!  Blasphemy right on slide #2! Christianity isn't the only way to God!  Lots of gods and lots of ways to them all!  So who is the writer of this who is denying Jesus' words, "I am the way...NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER BUT THROUGH ME!"

Christianity Isn’t Always Fair

Again, Christianity is not perfect and it’s only sometimes fair. We live in a fallen world, and evil and sin are part of it. It’s also only sometimes predictable. Prayer only seems to work part of the time, and it’s hard to understand why things happen when we believe in a God like the Christian God.

So Mr MSN has concluded that "Prayer only seems to work part of the time..."  I understand what he's saying in that "I prayed for my mom to be healed from cancer and she was!" vs. "I prayed for my mom to be healed from cancer and she just died."  But that's not HOW prayer works.  Prayer seeks to align us with God's will and isn't just a Genie in a bottle who SHOULD give us all we ask for.  Also, WHO is Mr MSN to say what's "fair" and what's not?

History of Violence

From the Crusades to the Inquisition, Christianity has been responsible for a wide range of violence throughout history. Much of it has to do with oppression against other religions. Christians were also the ones who were responsible for the witch trials–and not just in Salem, the UK also had its fair share of trials.

Ohhhh!  Those dreaded Crusades and the witch trials!!  Give me a break!   First off, just because some dude torturing a woman says "I'm a Christian!" doesn't mean he is.  Second off a total of 19 people were hanged after being accused of something in 1692.  We can't say whether followers of Christ were involved in ordering the killings or not?  Islam kills more people before 9 am every day...so would LOVE to see Mr MSN do a follow up story on the "Uncomfortable Truths About ISLAM!"...but we won't hold our breath.

Christianity Isn’t Perfect

Despite what Christians are often taught, Christianity was created by man and, therefore, is not a perfect religion. It’s full of people who have made mistakes, and it has a lot of controversial aspects. The Bible is constantly being reinterpreted to adapt to different ideas. And it’s often used to justify harmful behavior, such as sexism and judging others.

Yes!!  Mr MSN says the Bible is constantly being redone to adapt to different ideas!  And it's often used to justify harmful behaviors like sexism and judging!  How does Mr MSN get to decide what is "harmful" if HE'S not judging??  However he is correct in saying it's not a perfect religion because Christianity isn't a religion.

I'll let you click through the rest.  It's a good exercise in discernment and also might prepare you for witnessing to your friends and neighbors.

Here;  12 Uncomfortable Truths About Christianity That People Aren't Ready to Hear (msn.com)

Also, if you get a chance to read all the comments on this article you will get an idea of just how divided our nation actually is.  "Do you think I came to bring peace to the world??  No!!  I bring a sword to divide families and friends!"  (paraphrase of Jesus)  Yep that is true!  Those who accept Jesus are very divided from those who reject Jesus.

Are We There Yet?

Many, many of us have been watching for Jesus’ return for many years.  And yet events just get more amazing and more prophetic every year.  How much longer Jesus?

For those of us who have raised children, you might remember the question. There was a commercial, as I recall, that used the question to emphasize one product or the other in a humorous way.

Children in the back seat of the car in the commercial kept asking, “Are we there yet?”

We who transported our young kids on those times – especially on longer trips to Grandmas or other destinations – have heard that question, often in whining tones as time went on. I certainly remember hearing it. And I’m sure my parents heard it on those long trips from Pekin, Illinois, where we lived when I was a child, on the road to Hampton, my grandparent’s home in south Arkansas.

At this late moment of this Church Age I, myself, seem to be whining this question, and I’m hearing it from others on a growing basis.

“Are we there yet?”

It is coming from God’s children – believers in Jesus Christ who, like myself, sometimes grow weary –or vexed – as ol’ Lot might have put it while enduring to the end his time in Sodom.

“Are we there yet?” That is, how long before we reach the end of our Lord’s tolerance for the evil flourishing all around us while we keep looking up,” as my friend the late J.R. Church used to put it at the close of his Prophecy In The News TV program each week.

Each and every day – actually, each and every news cycle – we are inundated with end-times storm warnings. And it seems as if the Words of Warning from the Chief Prophetic Meteorologist of all history is speaking directly to those who, as commanded by Him – are “watching in order to discern where this generation stands on God’s Prophetic Timeline.

Jesus gave the signals to look for as Earth’s inhabitants near the outbreak of history’s most virulent turbulence – that of the Tribulation era. The following is that Storm warning.

Why is the World Not Heeding the Warning of God’s Wrath?

I work with High School boys one day per week who struggle with addiction to drugs and alcohol.  When the topic of heaven and hell comes up with new kids in the program, 100% of the boys will say, “I’d go to heaven…cuz I’m a pretty good person.”  Here they are sitting in a 1 year, in-house treatment program for lying, stealing, doing perverse things and doing huge amounts of illegal drugs and they still believe they are pretty good!  Why?  Because we all want to compare ourselves to people who are way worse than we are!

And just in time to add gas to the delusion-fire, last week we had the Pope announce on 60 Minutes that “all people are basically good.”  You can’t make it up!

*******************

As we inch closer and closer to the time when Jesus will call us home, it is not only our anticipation which grows, but also the urgency we feel in warning others of the wrath to fall upon this earth in the form of the Tribulation Period.  There are many wonderful remnant ministries throughout the world who are labouring fervently, expending time, money and effort to comfort the saints and warn the sinners.  But are the unsaved listening?

Mention Isaiah 6 to serious Bible students and you will receive a knowing nod.  It is the familiar scene when Isaiah appears before the throne of God.  Although Isaiah was overtaken by the majesty of God’s holiness, he wasn’t afforded much encouragement about the task he was about to take on.  Verse 9 says:  “And He said, ‘Go, and tell this people:  ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.’”

The hope in our ministry is that we will be an instrument God can use in order to open the eyes of the spiritually blind and bring hearing to those who are spiritually deaf.  Yet God tells Isaiah that his ministry will make some people’s eyes more blind, their ears more deaf and their heart more callused.  Hardly a good advertisement for a ministry position, is it?  Warren Wiersbe said: “God does not deliberately make sinners blind, deaf, and hard-hearted; but the more that people resist God’s truth, the less able they are to receive God’s truth. But the servant is to proclaim the Word no matter how people respond, for the test of ministry is not outward success but faithfulness to the Lord.”  So, let’s examine some reasons as to why the average unsaved person is not heeding the warning.

One of the major reasons the unsaved are not listening is because they do not believe they are inherently bad and worthy of eternal punishment.  But herein lies the problem.  It all comes down to the fact that most people mistakenly think they are “good people”.  What that term really means, nobody can sufficiently explain.  It is, for the most part, highly subjective.  We have courts, we have politicians and police and gossip magazines and even ordinary people who say it is their right to tell you who is good and bad, but ultimately God is the Judge.  The point is, many people consider themselves good, but they are measuring themselves against others who are worse.  The true indicator is to measure yourself against those who are better.  And we know there is none better than the God-Man, Jesus Christ.  And when we measure ourselves against Him, there is none good – not even one.
